Anyways have a decent csb from german train. Took one from vienna to frankfurt. Had not seen my friend in ages but the train only stopped in wurzburg for 5 mins but still we decided to meet up. At the Nurumberg (sp?)station I decided to waltz out of the train just to gauge what sort of time i'd have in wurzburg bahnhof with my friend...I wasnt smoking, just standing looking around (big **** off beard and turban'd out) then I went back in when it was time to move.

My coworker was seated a few seats in front of me because there was lots of room in the cabin. Two hobos got on the train at Nurumberg. They walk straight to me obv and I know why. They want ein euro. I was listening to music so waved them off. He was a persistant ****er tho so I had to take my earphones off and I hear him say smth like "passport bitte"

I am like waaaaaas? He flips out a badge and oh ****!! die bullen!! So he starts asking me what I was doing out on the platform. The other cop grilling my coworker asking why we aint sitting together...

Showed him my visa and explained why I was out on the platform but they decided to wait till we got to wurzburg to check out my story. Now there was a 30% chance my friend might not make it to the station due to any odd reason (this is pre mobile internet so all plans were made days ago over email) and a chance that even if he is, there might not be enough time to find him! Risky for me and my story! Gladly tho i spotted him before the train even stopped! Phew

Pretty much agree with all that. I think the issue is that people think one thing is GREAT to the exclusion of others. This is worse in Eurotardia where somehow people think Fuggle is an acceptable hop to be placed in anything other than the trash. Or any of the bull**** other Eurotardia hops.

You should spend more time in Europe talking to "beer people". Listening to them talk about American beer is like watching SS try to string together a coherent argument.
