It's great, I eat it all the time also.

These people are dumb.

Wed log:
05-24-2017 , 10:28 PM
I went to the grocery store, but I only got coffee, sodas, and yogurt. I guess no more meal preps untill after the move this weekend. I have a prepped chicken meal for lunch tomorrow, and I can cook salmon for dinner. I'll have a lean cusine for lunch on Friday.

I planned on 45mins at the gym today, but I was just too dang sore. My daughters graduation is in the morning, so I was thinking of going after that before heading to work.... baseball tomorrow, so I won't have time after work.
If I don't make it tomorrow, I'll definitely get a ton of lifting in this weekend while moving.

My house is a disaster again; sink full of dishes and messes my daughter made everywhere, and I just feel exhausted right now.

Did you make the asparagus yourself? Frying asparagus in butter and adding cheese to it can be super filling and pretty nutritious as well (and tastes amazing - I'll make bacon and use the same pan for asparagus)
05-24-2017 , 10:44 PM
I went out and wasted money :/
I promised my daughter that we would go bowling tonight, I had to go to the doctor as well, so I didn't have a lot of time to cook...and looking at my dishes overwhelmed me.

I can't hate on werthers, one or two is just the right amount. I'd probably eat 15 of the things. MLYLT I told you to stay under 2k calories, you're exceeding my poor standards and making me seem like the fool I am

No chance your steak and shrimp with asparagus and salad at chillys was ~550 calories, though it seems like you at least made some solid choices
05-24-2017 , 11:40 PM
It's 790 cal but that includes mashed potatoes which she didn't have https://www.chilis.com/menu/ribs-ste...shrimp-sirloin

Awesome day mly. Particularly considering that you ate out.

M,

Solid day, solid choices!

+1.

This is what people mean by making a lifestyle change.

Find something that you can live with and just get in a groove. Before long, you aren't even expending willpower to make it happen because you've made it a habit, a lifestyle.

Sounds like something a fatty would say... Loco, ruling here please

Yes going out to eat and getting something <600kcal deserves a big compliment, well done.

M, great job with Wednesday's log!

When you move to your sisters will you be eating whatever she makes for dinner or cooking your own meals? Does your sister eat healthy?
05-25-2017 , 08:24 AM
I have no idea. It's the 2% selection in Sparkpeople. Same Cal's as normal 2% milk.
05-25-2017 , 08:26 AM
Does Sparkpeople have an entry for your yogurt that spells protein correctly? I'd like to stop cutting myself.

ETA: By the way, the Coq au vin was really good, although the prep time is such that it's probably more appropriate to make on the weekend. I started chopping around 4:30 and we didn't eat until a shade after 7 pm.

Thanks!

My sister does not eat healthy. She eats fast food for almost every meal now.she has gotten into this mindset of "I don't get to spend money on anything, I can go to Chick-fil-A as a luxury". She is 5'5" about 180lbs and used to be 120lbs. I'm hoping that me prepping meals will help her lose some weight and we can start walking together. If I say I'm going to do something like prepping meals, she'll hold me to it though.
She needs a lot of help managing her money and I need help with organization at home and with my daughter; we will both help each other out, or get on each others nerves lol. I'll definitely be calling her out on all the ways she doesn't plan and waste money and she'll call me out on getting the dishes done and cleaning. Every month she is telling me about how she doesn't know how she going to pay this and that bill and she knows how much money she is going to make each month; she just absolutely doesn't plan at all.

That is excellent.

Eh. Pick your battles. You're not really gonna get your protein intake any other way unless you LC which is lol. I eat some full fat greek yogurt, but the issue is making it a staple food in a diet, not whether it isn't awesome.

(I use it as a sub in a lot of stuff that asks for sour cream since its way more awesome. Lots of dips as well with greek yogurt and regular with actual food instead of weird powder.)

Hey there. Did you miss a page of the thread? I didn't get a reply to any of the points I made earlier about how not only is sugar/carb addiction not self-evident, but woefully incorrect.

Or is this some tacit acknowledgement of my superior knowledge and intellect?

I missed breakfast and just had a yogurt and 3oz of chicken and I can't eat anymore. I'm not hungry at all. There's something going on with my hormones. I'm ovulating today and I'm generally starving the week of ovulation.
05-25-2017 , 01:29 PM
Uh oh.
05-25-2017 , 01:33 PM
Maybe you're not hungry because you ate an extremely reasonable, satiating dinner to cap off an excellent and controlled day of eating yesterday and just ate a protein rich lunch instead of topping off an evening of fasting yesterday with multiple Sausage McMuffins slathered in jelly this morning?
05-25-2017 , 01:36 PM
You don't say?
