Mon log:
I kept thinking I would have a snack after dinner, but I just never got hungry again and I'm about to go to bed. I got some Crystal light and I've been drinking a lot of water today and I haven't felt really hungry all day.

Nice day, I want to see you put a string of sub 2k days together MLYLT. You seem to be ready and prepared for it.

It is a good day in that you stayed under calories, but it is going to leave you very hungry and susceptible to gorging tomorrow.

Holy **** only two eggs for breakfast nice work
05-22-2017 , 11:52 PM
That is true, hopefully MLYLT has some healthy satiating meals/breakfast in the cogs.

Why don't you quit eating jelly?

Edit: Of all the times to skip sugar, this chicken recipe is not one of them. Use the sugar, not Splenda.

Just buy low sugar jelly or diet jelly or something. You don't have to quit jelly. Just don't make it a food group.

Go crazy on it. The stuff is the nutritional equivalent of sugar free jello.

M, why are you ignoring all the posts regarding you eating jelly?

Good job on the weight loss thus far but you can kinda see a plateau the last few months. You need to start changing some of your bad habits starting with the jelly, fast food, eating out too much, etc. It looks like you are off to a good start with meal prep and eggs/yogurt this week. Make a plan for this weekend when you are moving stuff so you don't get stuck eating out multiple times.

I'm not even anti-jelly! I told her to eat all the ****ing jelly she wants, just as long as its sugar free!!!
05-23-2017 , 08:11 AM
MLYLT, this is a good example of one of those time where its incredible how you're able to ignore everything regarding the missing logs. Im sure this is part of the behavior hurting your progress, I bet you dont even have a clue on how to deal with it if you wanted to. Doesnt it bother you?
05-23-2017 , 08:47 AM
Yay! I'm back under 230 today. I started April at 228.2, now I've undone the damage last month. Current May losses are 6.6lbs with a week to go!
05-23-2017 , 08:50 AM
I'm not ignoring post about jelly. Yeah, I'll switch to the Splenda jelly no problem.

I didn't post Thurs and Fri logs because the ppl in OOT were talking about it, so I just don't want to post them now. I'm feeling good and getting into a good groove, I don't want any negatively. I already know Friday was bad and I ate out all day.
05-23-2017 , 08:55 AM
People in OOT only started to talk about it after you didn't post the logs. I thought you wanted to be held accountable for missed logs and such.

I also think posting logs of bad days can be helpful because you often miscount the calories or forget things, but if you don't want to post bad days that's fine, it's your choice.

Oh My God my legs are so sore today, I can barley walk.

Bear in mind people may have seen Dr. Oz on the Today show last week telling them the sugar free sweets "make their brain go crazy with sugar cravings" with a straight face, as if it were factually established.
05-23-2017 , 10:03 AM
Log only good days seems like a terrible idea.
05-23-2017 , 10:05 AM
I'm not against not having sugar. I think switching to sugar free Jelly is a great idea, but I don't see having 50cals of jelly is a problem for long term success. I use Splenda for my coffee or drink it black and have been for years. Now I'm drinking diet sodas and haven't had any kind of a drink with sugar in it for the past year. The only sugar I get is from jelly, snow cones, and the occasional dessert. I don't think sugar addiction is my problem. I just really love jelly on sausage and snow cones....and lemon cake.

I can continue carpet bombing this thread with pubmed links and vanquishing the crazies.

Gotta fight the good fight.

Okay, but they sell low-calorie jelly so why not use it? If you could reduce your daily calories by 50, that would result in about 5 pounds of additional fat loss annually.
