Hi MLYLT,

I think you could benefit from learning a good turkey chili recipe. They are easy to make and easy to store in a freezer.

When I did my first aggressive diet I would make a huge batch of them on sunday and freeze them for the week. At the very least you have all your lunches taken care of and the measurements are easy to calculate.

If that sounds appealing I'm sure there's someone here who knows a good tasty recipe that they could share.

These are still the biggest obstacles for MLY, and browbeating her over her food choices isn't going to make it any easier for her to overcome them.
Yep the programming doesnt rly matter, the best program for her is going to be whatever she can actually follow

MLYLT has been given all the advice she needs on this thread.

She knows what she has to do, it is now a question of putting it into practise.

She has gone through a crazy time and she just needs to settle down and actually start...

This is not a skill issue. She's an engineer. This is a question of will, and if she is in the right place to do so....

Still rooting for you MLYLT, you just need to buckle down now and show so come consitency.

I'm running out of weight to loose here!

Don't think I won't gain 10 to lose 15 though!

Clayton,

That's a great suggestion. But even better, at this point in her diet, a delicious beef chili recipe every night with a small piece of cornbread would help her immensely - then when she's down to 235 can switch to turkey and at 200 can drop the cornbread.

Could I get a copy of that diet plan, Diddy?

Eating George Foreman'd chicken breast, half a cup of brown rice, and a cup of steamed vegetables at every meal will get you 90% of the way there, Zangief, so don't sweat the small stuff

I am going to. I needed a fridge to store my portioned meals. I'm cooking today for the rest of the week. I plan on cooking and portioning the meals twice a week.

Isn't diversity in food important to make sure you get all the micronutrients?
