I should be around 227 right now,. Just hoping to be back to 228 by the end of the month.

100 calories on the Sonic bacon cheeseburger?
You took a bite of your daughters and didn't order anything for yourself right?
04-20-2017 , 03:11 PM
A McDonald's sausage and cheese biscuit with jelly doesn't seem healthy or convenient. Try cooking two or three eggs for yourself in the morning before you leave the house and see what you think. It takes under five minutes and three whole eggs is ~210 calories.

"Should be", assuming there were no other forgotten tubs of ice cream, right? Looks like your actuals have been significantly higher than your calculated #s all month. That's not just short-term water weight.

Yeah, I wasn't claiming it hadn't been (I've pointed out a few myself in the past, but given up for obvious reasons). I was just trying to give a little background to Josie.

Everyone eventually learns. At first they say they understand, but they really don't get it. They need to experience it themselves and finally the truth comes crashing down on them.

The decisions have obviously been horrible on multiple fronts. However, sarcastic trolling isn't allowed on H&F logs. This isn't OOT. It is even less beneficial to come with trolling to someone clearly dealing with mental health issues. So play by the rules or play somewhere else.

Mly, you really need to stop with the drive thrus. Try to not go for one week, at all.

CS3 and others in OOT have actually been TRYING to get her help with her mental health issues. You White Knights in here still trying to tell her to stop eating Sno Cones and all will be fine, need to STFU and try to convince her to get the help she needs.
04-20-2017 , 03:52 PM
There are several people actively trying to help, without White Knighting, myself included.

Do you really think sarcastically saying HEY GREAT CHOICE FOR BREAKFAST is going to have a 0.001% chance of changing behavior? It's not. You can post info that is helpful, even if it is critical of the choices being made, without just trolling.

So true

You're right, this is the wrong place to troll.
Im am legitimately questioning that 100 cal bacon cheeseburger though. How do you have 0.13 serving of a burger?

Ty, I was quite confused when I first saw it, thinking did the company actually spell it this way or did Mly enter it.

Yes, I question it too. It likely has a fractional input, and she put in 1/8, which comes out as 0.13.

MLYLT, when you eat things that aren't directly out of a package, a description of what you ordered/made would be really helpful. Pics would be better.

Your accuracy in logging has many times shown to be no bueno, with several times of you leaving items off of the log that were important enough that you mention in here. How many times are you snagging a mini-candy bar or something and forgetting?

MLY,

good job on keeping up the logs

It's positive, I suppose. Considering how long she's been logging cals though, it seems she doesn't even try be accurate. What is the point other than lying to herself?

Amongst the things I don't understand is "I need to wait until I'm in a better financial situation before I can talk to a therapist!" (which fairly quickly followed "going to therapists is a waste because they all tell me the same thing and it's not what I want to hear!") when in the recent past you've stated:

1. You've just received a large raise
2. You are looking to buy a house next month
3. You're looking to buy a car despite having an operating care
4. You're looking to give an operating car to your ne'erdowell boyfriend instead of turning it into cash
5. You sent, 'loaned', a non-trivial amount of money to a rando on the internet

Those 5 things seem like the sort of person who could make different things priorities and then have cash for therapy.

I'm sad to hear you'e stopped trying to quit smoking.

I'm sad to hear on your bad day that involved having to go to Walmart, you started the day with 2 McDonald's greasebombs.

I'm sad to hear that there are families where people cancel hanging out with / taking out their mom for her birthday last minute so they can go on a date / hang out with their gf, but that's pretty unrelated.

MLY, just a brief diversion if you will into the h&f stuff.

At the end of Jan you weighed 237.5. Now, nearly 3 months later, you're down only an additional 4.6 lbs.

It seems to me that the wheels have come off.

You were doing well for so long, but it looks as though your heart just isn't in it any more. As your weight has declined so have your maintenance calories and your weight loss has slowed dramatically. The June bikini body looks a long way away. You've had more bad days and seem a lot less focused on your goals.

So what gives? Have you effectively given up?

I took a couple of bites and it was gross, so I didn't finish it.

I haven't given up. My desire has slow deminished over the past few months and I don't know how to get it back. I don't know how to get motivated again.

I will admit that in the begginning was a really rough time with my relationship with code3, it's when he told me "I already told you I don't want you" when I was offered the job in East Texas and debating on waiting for a job offer in Dallas or moving away from him. In the begginning, I was so motivated because I was thinking that if I became beautiful he would want me. Now I'm at the point where I have to find the motivation to do it for myself and it's hard.

What did you eat for breakfast this morning?

As an aside, the breakfast thing is similar to the message espoused in this video:

Starting off the day by accomplishing something positive is important.
04-21-2017 , 10:51 AM
I ate a McDonald's sausage and biscuit. No excuses but that I'm just lazy. All of my pans ate dirty, and I don't feel like washing one to have to cook eggs for breakfast. I bought cinnamon rolls, biscuits, pancakes, and bacon to have big breakfast this weekend with code3 coming. He's not coming now , so I guess I'll just throw all that stuff away and eat eggs tomorrow.
