Yeah, I should have gone ahead to downtown. It was just storming so bad, I wanted to get off the road and the airport was closer.
What I'm gleaning is that you prefer less hipster-y, farm to table type stuff and more rich food laden with butter and cheese? I can tailor my recommendations along those lines in the future.
And the food out in whatever hick part of the state in which your company's local site is located is just going to be terrible local Mom and Pop or endless Cracker Barrels and O'Charley's type places. Not really a surprise that those places suck, even in comparison to the haute cuisine available in the Texas desert.
