Hey MLYT. are you suuuuuuure you had only 1,000 calories between the stir fry and the tacos? what's your process for calorie counting the meals you cook? has your weightloss gone as you expected so far? how do you feel?

DN,

She never answers those questions, just ignores them. Sorry.

jesus ****ing christ mlylt, I'm reading your posts in the online dating thread and that is a tour de force of hamfisted crazygirl manipulation. I'm clapping and sighing and....you shouldn't do that to people. you don't cancel out the 10 piece McNugget you ate for breakfast with another 10 piece for dinner. c3 hurt you. hurting him back won't help and gotdamn do they even have the word 'subtle' in Texas?

Don't eat sugar of any kind, such as honey, maple syrup, white sugar, even fruit can spike your sugar level and high sugar levels can increase weight and is the reason for majority of overweight people. stick to vegetables and high quality meats and low calorie grains and some small portions of fruit with something the dilutes the sugar like water or coconut milk like in a smootie. I have candida and I know how hard it is to cut the sugar out of your diet and I sometimes crack and buy a small box of ice cream and eat it all but I just keep getting back on the horse and continue to cut my sugar and it helps a lot. I believe it would help you too.

not eating sugar of any kind will just lead you to binge.

eat what ever you want. just make sure you're in that deficit.

No anti sugar hysteria on this forum please

I'm taking the total of all the ingredients and dividing by portions.

The stir fry was 3 chicken breast, broccoli, carrots, and 210cals in sauce; I divided the stir fry into 3 portions.

The tacos were just tortillas and chicken meat. I got 9 tacos from 2 chicken breast.

I feel like I'm doing really well on calorie intake, but I could do a lot better with exercise. Right now I'm only swimming laps once a week, and I haven't even gone for a walk in two weeks. I think my depression is affecting me a lot and my energy levels are down. Code3 and I are still living together until I find a job; this really is the only option unless I pack everything and move to east Texas just to pack back up and move back to Dallas a couple of weeks later. My heart is really broken right now, I saw myself being with Code3 for the rest of my life, and all he wants to do is find someone better than me. I'm forcing myself to be happy and act like I'm not hurt, but I'm really hurting and when he's gone I just want to lay around and cry all day.

My body fat is 42.8%, I think it was around 50% when I started. I need to be at around 30% to be healthy.

In regards to the sugar; I've noticed that I lose less weight per week when I'm drinking diet sodas/Coke Zero than when I'm only having water. I think I need to cut the diet sodas as well.

If you weigh 275 and are 42.8% bf, that would leave you with 160 pounds of lean body mass, an absurdly high amount for a non-amazon female. You're probably still over 50%, but it's really not useful to look at things in terms of body fat percentage at this point. It probably never will be unless you have designs on being a physique competitor one day.

I think you need to do whatever you can to make it easier to eat roughly 1400 calories a day without being in abject misery. For me personally, that involves pounding diet cokes. I find it exceedingly unlikely that drinking diet sodas is reducing your rate of fat loss. They might be slightly affecting water retention, which is no big deal. If you ever wanted to drop a bunch of water weight in a short period of time, you could by dropping carbs and sodium from your diet.

Considering you had an issue at the start with sugared sodas, continuing with the diet sodas is probably in your best interests.

.

I'm taking my body fat from an electrical impulse scale; I think it it accurate.

I do have a lot of muscle mass. When I'm 160lbs my hip and rib bones extrude. My body type has always been muscular even when I was skinny(145-175lbs); I've always looked like I have meat on my bones and really think thighs and big butt.

I used to think about this myself until everything started shrinking including my thighs and legs.. The missus takes the piss out of me now for my "skinny" legs..

go figure!

Too bad loco doesn't post as much these days. His rants on body fat measurement techniques were epic.

Cliffs: It is not accurate.

I don't know what's more tilting, Renton's ignorance or OP's delusion.

Fat people carry a lot of water. For example the biggest person in recorded history suffered some type of edema where he retained approximately 900 pounds of fluid. Now I am not saying OP has edema, just saying that fat people's weight is made up of tons of water. So yeah its reasonable that a 290 lb woman would carry 160 LBM.

But having said that, it's pure fatty delusion to say that she is muscular and that at 150 lbs bodyweight she would be skinny. That's nonsense, especially when you don't lift or do steroids. At 150 she would still be overweight but obviously definitely much healthier, especially if she is active.

Having said all that, I don't think 44-50% bodyfat is really unreasonable. Like I said, there is a lot of water. But I don't really specialize in bodyfat percentages over 30%, so I could be wrong.
08-02-2016 , 11:23 AM
^ yup. I thought just like you for a long time (like a fat person), but when you see 2-5lbs of that watersodiumfat properly melt off from nothing but eating a healthy diet it changes your mind.

you're like 75 pounds away from being a normal fat person. IMO you can't be eating well and counting correctly because if you were you'd have lost 20 more lbs simply by cutting out all the processed sewage fat people eat.

MLYLT, I challenge you to post a pic each night this week of your daughter's dinner plate. what are you feeding her?
