The pros and cons list is pretty extensive on both sides. My boss would be a like minded cowboy and we'd do a lot of good. If it were the person who held the office before him offering, it would be a snap decline. Nothing lasts forever. I should probably take out a key man policy on him if I accept.

Company I work for has been virtual since its inception. All of us editors are all independent contractors who pay for our own benefits, etc, but we work from home and write off everything as tax deductible. Now they are opening physical offices and offering any editor the opportunity to relocate and be classified as an employee with benefits, an office, etc. Tough. I like being able to work from anywhere in the world, but that corner office...tough to turn down.
Corner offices are pretty nice, no question.

If you die crash will sue them for megabucks. Make sure your will/trust is in order.

60% to your heir, 30% to crash & ofc I get 10% for the idea.

My dad told me that his insurance costs him $900/mo. He has a very nice/comprehensive plan but I was prepared for his LOL OBAMA but it wasn't forthcoming. I figured why after I hung up the phone with him - he's had 2 heart surgeries, is 100+ lb overweight, has high blood pressure/cholesterol and smokes 2 packs a day.

Any question whether he could get insurance independently without something like the ACA?

That means getting licensed in Florida. I don't know dick about swamp and alligator law. Probably couldn't pass the bar

I pay $900/mo.

You know who to thank.

Wait - crash is a lawyer?????

If so he might like it here. Judging from the number of commercials, ambulance chasing here is extremely lucrative.

I think I remember my mom saying that her husband's health insurance is $2,500/month. Dude is thin and runs marathons, cycles, and swims.

05-01-2015 , 04:21 PM
My mom (single, late 50s, non smoker, not obese) apparently pays like 5 or 6 hundo a month as well.

Frankly if there's any reason now to join the military it's the free health coverage for life. As a vet I didn't have to sweat ACA at all. Granted I also have certain short falls like waiting forever for appointments but as I'm relatively healthy it's whatever.

Sounds like he's paying his fair share. He should be proud, and give all thanks to Obama.

BtM does not approve of many in the yellowfever pic either. Maybe #2. And that's a stretch.
Very true. Lowering score to 28/37, that's a really bad #yellowfever saver crash. You have a chance for redemption though, go on.

April:
- Get down to 170
- Another 5/3/1 cycle
- Maybe do a few trail runs now that it's warming up
Weighed in at 169.8 yesterday morning.
Did another 5/3/1 cycle.
Did not run. Just felt like it was a bad idea because I was cutting so hard. Ate 1500 calories a day for the entire month save maybe two days, despite going on vacation for 2 weeks, which I am pretty happy with.

May:
- Weigh 165
- 5/3/1
- Add some cardio workouts

Increased my daily calories to a 500/day deficit. I've lost almost 25 lbs in the past ~2.5 months and need to slow down. Considering doing an IF type workout day/rest day split. I actually didn't adjust calories for workouts so far this year. Plan to get to 165 and then start recomp. Feeling pretty good though.

Being 6' even is like being the middle child. Never get any attention at all from anyone for any reason. Ever.

I've got enough self-loathing for everyone

Except you short mfers. You're worse than the talls.

Try being 5'9 bro. Though oddly enough I'm taller than my roommates. Shorts stick together.

I'm closer to mainland Russia than mainland North America right now and I haven't seen any smoke out here.

The way he sets up wide I would be terrified of dropping the plates on my toes, which would probably mean amputation with the weight he uses.

Jesus. I, for once, am glad that I have a stable job where I don't pay TOO much for insurance -- ~350/q. I literally never go to the doctor ever and don't even know what I'd do if I had to pay for it on my own.

Hypothetically, if I were to get fired and collect unemployment, what kind of medical coverage would I be on and how much would it cost me? What happens if I just quit and have no real job (aka poker) then what?
