super brag: Just did a home inspection for the new condo I bought. My realtor found in the tax records that my unit comes with a storage unit that the seller never mentioned (or possibly even knew about). The main concierge guy immediately told me that he has a list of people inquiring about renting storage units for ~$100/mo. Present value is what, like 20k? Today is a good day.

Also, I really don't understand the fascination we have with politics. It is all just a bunch of liars lying for the most part, and we are supposed to sit around and pretend they actually believe anything they are saying?

I understand this is how the world works, and I don't have any better ideas. I just don't get what is so interesting about the whole political process, especially when it comes to presidential elections.

Well for me, I bet on elections like you bet on sports. The markets have a lot more opportunity. The problem is that the best platforms for making the bets have become largely unavailable to USA#1ians.

I guess that worked out well for me because if I had easy access to betfair I would have lost a ****ton betting against Trump to win the nom. I'm still going to lose, but it's nothing compared to what I would have lost.

I'm doubling down on Trump to lose the general, though. I should bet more, but I'm kind of shook. If I was wrong about the nom, I could be just as wrong about the general.

That is fair. I really love watching football (college and NFL) and would watch it without the action. But to be completely honest I am not even sure I would watch (non Warriors) NBA if I didn't have action.

My girl just discovered something really remarkable right outside the compound where I live. This has been growing there in public and nobody has a clue that it's there (or what it is, I guess). Except maybe the person who planted it there once.
