Bah, close-ish on flat bench but will have two more shots at it before a reset. Thing is I'll be increasing incline bench in the meantime so that'll make hitting 3 x 8 on flat harder.
Definitely think this is the strongest I've been.
Forgot to mention, I've been cutting. I was 247 or so a few months ago and am down to 237ish in the AM. Will probably cut to 215, so still a ways to go.
Same result as last time on flat bench. That's 3 times failing to get 3 x 8 at 205, so gonna reset to 165 (-20%). Probably climb back up until I fail 3 times again then reset and start micro-loading.
I've been mostly doing crossfit stuff tbh which has been a lot of fun. Not getting much stronger but not getting weaker, still picking off PRs here and there, and aesthetics slowly moving in right direction so no complaints!

Long-term goals: would be nice to bench 315, OHP body-weight. Fwiw, I think BW OHP is a long ways away. I've done 180 at low 240s BW so that's not particularly close heh...
Not really sure what I'm gonna do this summer, though I'll be in NYC.
Finally done with semester. Didn't submit one HW out of 11 so HW average is 84 or something. Did above average on midterm and bombed final so will see how things turn out.
At parents' place, so hard to get gym sessions in but doing my best. Will reset on OHP next time I fail. I leave for NYC for summer internship this Sunday and then I'll (hopefully) have a much better gym set-up.
