Bah! Had to abort workout just a few minutes in for wife emergency. Taken care of, but now it's two hours later and vaguely still early enough to go workout...darned indecisiveness! Was trying 10x3 for OHP and made it through just 3 sets...son of a *****...

you should check out www.startingstrength.com

They focus in giving feeback to beginners on how to get the ball rolling. Just make sure to let them know you are 145 lbs and are interested in dieting to reduce BF while you gain strength and muscle. That way you can get some good constructive feedback towards helping you meet these ends.

I accidentally ate a bite of some peanut m&m cookie and needed an epipen shot on Monday. Then promptly got a severe cold and fever by that night.

It's been a pretty cool couple of days. I imagine this is what it's like to be kidcolin

I'm so glad that AFAIK I have no allergies. I might be developing hay fever or some other seasonal but that's apparently something that just can happen as you age anyway.

You didn't say anything about your BMI shooting upwards of 35 and being unable to walk, so I'm pretty sure you haven't gotten the full experience yet.

Okay that's not true. The dieting part MUST be hard, right? It has been for me, anyways. Only come ever-so-close to stage lean like 4 weeks out but never quite gotten there. Natty powerlifting is an abomination and the fed that does it is ultra-corrupt. Equipped powerlifting is an abortion.

RAW powerlifting with AAS permitted is where it's at. You can't just outdrug the competition and at some/many points you're going to have to ****ing GRIND *****.

lbbs is fine when it's ATG and not squatmorninged.

What am I missing?

The guy did a set of 14 with 225 followed by a set of 7 with 315.

And his grip looked fine. Suicide grip not my cup of tea. But he had as good a technique doing it as I have seen.

He didn't appear inordinately weak for a BB.

Wrong guy. Simeon is a bad person for other reasons, but at least trains hard, is strong, and (probably) is less dependent on drugs. I mean dreadlocks guy. You outbench him.

And if you look closely, it is debatable whether the bar ever actually touches his chest on those 315 reps

And it is obvious he's wearing wraps not to protect his elbows but to hide how pointy they are

Ordinarily a box squat is about 85% of regular squat for same reps, so yes. You can cheat a bit by lunging/rocking off the box and I guess someone could be completely terrified of stopping on their own, but probably yes.
