Re: Loco's "training to genetic potential" log (BB)
I went overboard bro. Made slight changes to my coach's workout to fit everything in comfortably. Too bad it involved going to the gym 7 days a week. So going to take a couple of days off and fix it so I am in they gym 4 days a week. We make mistakes sometimes. We take a step back, adjust, and keep going forward.

Re: Loco's "training to genetic potential" log (BB)
Part of the problem also is the measly 150 g of carbs I am on right now. On leg day I have to move 25000 pounds around at the gym on this much carbs (and considering how weak my legs are, that's a lot of poundage!!). Whatevers, we move on.

This is how I "fix" my pho so I can reach my daily goal macros
I just throw it in there, gets cooked pretty good.

Re: Loco's "training to genetic potential" log (BB)
If you really are "overtraining", as in, lifting hard and heavy every day of the week while on a deficit (I don't remember if fat loss is one of your goals), then yeah, stop that.
FWIW, I am on a slight deficit and training just about every day to a max in the main oly lifts
it is possible, but you have to build up to it, and it's more mental than anything else.
Also, it takes time to differentiate overtraining from simple staleness. If you're still a beginner by most standards, I'd say just eat a bit more for a few days and you'll be fine, get back in there. Overtraining takes a long time to kick in.

Re: Loco's "training to genetic potential" log (BB)
Probably just overthinking it like always. Its just that I can't sleep anymore. My appetite has decreased recently. And most troubling of all, for the first time in 5 months my bench press not only went stale, it got weaker.
Probably just need to get used to the new volume intensive workout. I mean I look leaner than ever and I guess that's what coach wants. I guess it would help to stop sneaking in sets to failure on this type of workout.
Thanks for the comments. Will just keep chugging along.

Re: Loco's "training to genetic potential" log (BB)
I WANT to be Maximus Ripumus Locomus!!!!!
But coach thinks its better to lean me out and then bulk me. So we are on our road to 7% bodyfat. Its going to suck big time. Pretty sure I'll be banned from the forum before its all over.

This is the wild west bro, literally nobody gets banned from H+F unless you burn down Anklebreaker's house or something. And dumb posts are not nearly a bannable offense.

Just hope loco doesn't wander into the politics forum, he's gonna get banned after like 5 minutes, lol.
That's how H&F guys get banned (thremp, jdock, etc.) historically, right?

I never seen anyone get banned directly from H&F except obvious spammers.

Re: Loco's Metabolic Overtraining log (BB)
Just had a delicious Kiwi. 25 calories. Ate up a grapefruit also. 45 calories.
I am not very religious, but Kiwi makes me believe in God. I just take a bite and
God is right there, "that's for you boy, enjoy." So delicious. I must be going crazy since the only sugar I have is half a Gatorade I drink post workout (sometimes).
Light chest work
Military Press
100 x 10, 10,10
Rear DB flyes
15s x15,15 (easy, move up next week to 20s)
DB side laterals
15s x15,15
Arm work
Ab wheel
Day 1 of my workout is so easy. Breeze through it in 55 minutes. But Day 4 with 4 sets of 10 rep deadlifts and 3 sets of 10 reps dimel deadlift, 3 sets of 15 hyperextensions and a bunch of lat work? That day is just beyond brutal still. But its getting easier. Can't believe how bad my conditioning was.
Still getting more ripped. Not to 12% yet though. Probably get to 12% in a few weeks.

Re: Loco's Metabolic Overtraining log (BB)
Hey who changed the title of my log?? Change it back please. I am open to suggestions on changing it, but "metabolic overtraining" is not appropriate since I crawled into bed for a few days and took it easy when it was getting too hard.
