How does porn hub know that it's women unless they are signing in? I never sign in on pornhub, redtube, xhAmster or any of the free sites. Maybe only lesbians pay for porn.

It's probably like that pedophile test Elliot had to take while undercover; "the test doesn't score how attractive you rate the pictures of children vs. the pictures of adults, the test scores based on how long you leave the images open."

A rather accurate prediction of the user's gender can be made on the basis of cookies.

'The Power of Habit' gives an example where supermarkets were able to guess quite accurately when their customer was pregnant, basing on the recent purchases, sometimes even before the customer learned about her pregnancy, to offer discounts on goods for the newborn near the due date.

Websites collect and share a ton of data on you so they generally have a pretty good idea if a certain IP address is a man or a woman. For example you will probably see a lot more adds targeted to women when you roam the interwebs.

I do not believe the majority of '40%' US women are lesbians/in the closet lesbians fighting that desire. So why this result? Stat is inaccurate? I'm surprised I didn't see other categories represented.
This must be because you're a lot older than us. I'm venturing even just women who admit to regular porn consumption is north of 90%, and actual users is approaching 100%. For the non-olds born after 1980 crowd.

But I thought only gewgle stored my data?

Hmmmm I dunno those are some big numbers. I'm def an older demographic but I think you're projecting your use on females. Remember, men are stimulated visually much more so than women.

btw I see you're based in China. My son is 19 has has taken Mandarin for 5 years. He went to China last year with school and absolutely loved it.

I like the anecdote of how cosmetic companies target women when they're feeling lonely and depressed or bi-polar people with discounted trips to Vegas when it seems like they're entering a manic phase. The future is here and everything seems nice

Debatable. It's not the visualization itself, it's the context that tends to matter. Women tend to need emotional relevance. A good storyline, erotic mood, fetish. Whereas men are more interested simply in physical type. Much of the research that contributed to this myth about men vs women was due to the research itself being biased, ie the erotic films shown to women vs men were male oriented erotic films, but new research distinguishing different types of films is quickly dispelling this myth.

Now you could say that because most porn is awful and is nothing more than a body type in a crude situation, yes, men "prefer" more porn than women, but if you control for TYPE of porn rather than volume, you'd quickly see the error.

Are you suggesting that the official PORNHUB Twitter account is tweeting out #fakenews Rustly?

If that's so I guess nothing is knowable

I am suggesting the WBONY is the worst offender and as such, I think the xkcd comic applies

Yes definitely, but all porn is made for the male targeted audience! There is no porn that caters to what a woman needs; emotions, erotic mood, etc. That's why those stupid 50 Shades of Gray movies were so popular.

All my friend my age were agog over the books and movies and as bondage isn't my thing, I wasn't really. And I don't think it's their thing either, so much as the underlying passion and relationship that was illustrated.

That is hilarious.

Not true. Quite a few companies out there are run by women and cater exclusively to women. For example, look at Abby Winters.

Josie seems to know a lot about porn.

Yeah, I enjoyed the recent pods on persuasion too. Social media being able to plot if someone is on the up or downswing in their bipolar before the person is and advertising specifically is frightening

I'd never listened to a Sam Harris podcast before but someone posted 78 & 79 on Facebook because they're FREAKING THE **** OUT ABOUT THE DONALD.

Good listens.

Or the fact a whole genre is referred to as "female friendly" specifically for this reason. And that is ignoring that some women actually like watching porn of all genres for the same reason dudes wanna see an anthropomorphic tiger bang a rabbit. Or Kai Greene **** fruit.

People are weird. But don't worry, we got Jose here to set it all straight.

The Tristan Harris one is good too (on pursuasion), as is the "Being Good and Doing Good" episode with Will MacAskill. I can't listen to too many of the politics ones in a row, so find some of the meditation/cognitive/tech/genetics ones good to break up the depressive ones.

ZUU looks more like something you'd do as a dynamic warmup then any actual exercises.
06-02-2017 , 07:08 PM
ZUU definitely looks good if you like getting pounded in the ass every day
