Politicians are idiots and control freaks imo.

Re: *** June Jezebel LC Thread ***

I've thought a lot about this, and I can't say for certain that from a public health policy that we should allow people to make their own dietary choices while also allowing companies to slang outrageously-sized proportions of processed food.

This discussion could go deep into libertarian politics, compassion, ethics & morality, free will, public welfare and healthcare, etc.

Let's just say that every day that I wake up, I have to fight off the urge to believe in eugenics.

I've thought about it a fair bit, too, and imo either people are incapable of making good decisions and fast food should be banned, or people are capable of making their own decisions and fast food should not be banned.

Putting 16 ounce limits on drinks or not letting people get more fries for 25 cents is just dumb and makes a mockery of the human race.

Just my .02

Re: *** June Jezebel LC Thread ***

I've thought about it too. I'm still not able to come up with a solid opinion about it. Here is why:

If people have to pay for their own health care, I wouldn't care what they put into their bodies. But America appears to be headed full steam to a full on socialized health care system. Uh, I don't feel like paying for retarded who are in bad health from years of poor eating habits.

Bleh, this will get to politarded and I don't know enough about all the issues so i'll stop there.

But check out my log for some cool pics of the lake I went to yesterday!

That HBO series "Weight of the Nation" talked about how much more fatties cost taxpayers than in-shape people. It was a gross amount yearly.

Re: *** June Jezebel LC Thread ***

Im guessing a softball tourny>?

So now I'm stuck on this game called RUMBLE.

I've mentioned before I'm a scramble with friends game (Boggle, basically) junkie

It's the same game, but it's got stats, rankings and the gameplay is way better.

I've been playing for like 2 weeks maybe, and I'm already ranked 13th all time (out of 2 million i think). My ceiling is probably like 5 or 6 I think
