Well I lost weight, got stronger, and while I tweaked my lower back a few times, it led to me becoming more serious about my mobility and soft-tissue work.
New H&F poster (and general fitness noob), hi guys, I've learned quite a bit from lurking here on and off for a few years, Gizmo and Yugo is doing god's work ITT, etc.
Goals for june:
Average roughly 2000 calories a day (maintenance is around 3000 so I'm hoping I'll lose 7-8 pounds?), eating lots of chicken and veggies and eggs and stuff. Been counting calories for 2 weeks so far, has gone above expectation.
Go from complete beginner's phase (doing warmups and trying to learn the techniques atm) to regularly working out with my kettlebell (16kg), starting Pavel's Enter the Kettlebell program and hopefully progress a bit.
Hoping these are modest enough goals for a H&F noob such as myself.
1. Finish bachelor thesis on time Win!
2. Improve knee/contact someone about it Knee is feeling somewhat better, havent contacted anyone, 50% of each?
3. Dont OD on caffeine while doing #1 Winish! consumed 60L of coke zero during the last 2 weeks of writing but detoxed after it was finished
June Goals
1. New Bench PR
2. A on bachelor thesis
3. Do alot of fun stuff and enjoy my last summer before starting working full time
4. New Press PR
5. Improve knee
the 4th pic is awesome when you don't realize she's rolling her calf, and instead you think she's just scratching her dirty ******* in a manner similar to a dog during a televised event
June goals: Maintain weight/strength, continue hot streak in batting, fix my nasty, window-breaking golf slice, score one goal in soccer (and add some assists), play .900 save percent or better goaltending in hockey, keep military kit in order now that we're standing down for the summer.
