And on the subject of quick recipes that are easy to make in bulk for the week (although, truth be told, it's so easy there's essentially no reason not to make it fresh whenever you're in the mood, but w/e) this one is hard to top:

http://www.seriouseats.com/recipes/2...on-recipe.html

As is sometimes the case from Serious Eats, the oil content of the marinade is a bit on the high side for my tastes (I generally go with a 1:1 lemon juice: oil ratio for this one), but it's pretty easy to trim up some chicken, toss together the marinade (obv w/ fresh garlic, rosemary, and lemon juice you lazy pieces of ****) and get the grill going while it marinates a bit. Always a crowd pleaser with the minis and wifeacore and literally could not be easier to make.

ETA: Also works just fine in a cast iron pan indoors if you don't have #grillprivilege

Maybe we should make an H&F cooking/recipes thread? Was there one during the glory days of yore?

Meh all this stuff is useless, people are lazy and will rarely commit to living a non fatty lifestyle long term

Pretty sure there is one, but maybe all the links are dead? Search doesnt work well on my phone.

Made a big batch of El D chili, pretty damn good. Also a batch of slow cooked Moroccan spiced chicken with chickpeas and raisins which reheats really well.

Homebrew is also ticking along pretty well. 2nd batch porter a little on the sweet side, but 3rd batch pale ale is tasty and 4th batch scotch ale is shaping up well.

Might be able to borrow a still from my brother in law, so that could be fun and/or blinding
