Good point. Who's dumber? EV for believing this is anywhere near full ROM and not piece of **** ego lifting or me for being shocked at EV holding this belief despite being a follower/witness/fan for years.

The nazi form police is very strong. Doesn't matter. I'm getting stronger, all that matters.

I guess we were all wrong in thinking you're lifting for aesthetics

I just had enough of the politics the b1tches the brown nosing the lack of judgement and ethics. Getting constantly ****ed over because I stand my ground and refuse to be a total brown noser. It's just pathetic.

Rav.

I can't stress this enough.

Put your money where your mouth is.

Pic of physique or get out.

If you decrease your rom by half an inch each workout you can continue getting stronger for a long time

Look man I have no problem saying you look better than me without a shirt on. That is because I have my personal goals for lifting and I have no interest in comparing d*cks with other bro's. You're missing the point. It is not a competition.

You claim to be lifting for aesthetic reasons but you seem to continue to sabotage yourself by lifting without full ROM, even though there is tons of scientific research showing one gets the most muscle activation (and therefore growth stimulus) by utilizing full range of motion. In addition you go into full denial mode when this gets pointed out to you by very knowledgeable lifters on this forum. (I do not claim to be one of them)
You seem more concerned with lifting big weights rather than getting the most out of your training, which is frankly just your ego getting in the way of you reaching your max potential.

Dude that's way too many words with too little brospeak or ****ed out overdone misc memes for EV to read. rephrase that bro.

I could program a bot to post like EV and steal his login information so he can't post and nobody could possibly tell the difference.

My neck is killing me, gotta be from the DLs. Need to work on keeping my neck at a neutral point.

VintageEV makes a cameo. Form no good but that kid had heart. Picked up 375 like it was nothing with zero deadlift training. Benched 285 also. The glory days.

New deadlifts do look way better. But no heart now.

This is an important post, and I suggest anyone who continues posting in this log to pay attention to it.

EV has a drastically different standard than H&F for what qualifies as an acceptable lift. Those giving him advice have not even gotten into the technicalities that a form police nazi would focus on. You've simply pointed out he is not lifting close to full ROM. He is literally performing a partial lift, AND HE DOES NOT CARE. He claims that because he is putting more weight on the bar, he is getting stronger, whereas for most of us, we would never claim we were stronger unless we could perform the lift at higher weight with full ROM. We would consider that lying to ourselves and anyone who listens to our claim.

This is not EVs standard. I kind of question why he is posting here instead of in a forum where others think partial lifts are acceptable, but that too is his choice.

Continue on as you wish EV. This is your log. If your training gets you what you want, go for it.

There is no doubt in my mind I was pretty strong a few years back. On the road back to strength gainz. Doesn't come overnight. Just wait.

Bad angle I'll have someone vid me next time around and if opinions stay the same, I might retract my statement. But if this isn't acceptable form then I never had good form when performing this lift. You guys tend to nit pick so that's what I think it is. Maybe mixture of horrible angle. However, technically speaking if I always preformed this lift at the same range of motion then I am still increasing weights and getting stronger.

Well the angle looking upward instead of straight on may mask the "depth" of the starting position of the press, but it certainly doesn't mask the elbow angle which is where *I* see more issue.
