I don't think I can argue with anything you say on this forum, ever, as you usually have strong evidence to back it up.
What I have seen happen, is other posters reading what you have said, not understanding the reasoning behind the point you are making and preaching it like it is gospel in a completely different situation. I guess that is what ends up bugging me and the reason I made the long CF/metcon post.

Yes. This happens all the time with my pitching mechanics blog. It bothers me very much, even though I know it should not.
Of course, I am still wrong very frequently. Thremp in fact just chided me today about marathon runners and strength training.

Heart rate fell to from 170 to 125 after 2min walking (Need to get back in cardio shape)

You don't know what intense means. Unless you're using it as some sort of throwaway word for "trying really hard" in which case its equally worthless.
Also, Mark Twight is old, does ultra endurance, and is around as strong as I am adjusted for BW. Which says alot about how strong I am :/

Intensity has a formal definition in the fitness world. Using intense in the sense you were is retarded as it has no point. "I tried really hard in a metcon." is a pointless statement and undermines the utility of specific verbiage. But whatever.

Crossfit defines intense as "power output". re; thrusters are more intense than pullups because they have a higher power output. Yes, this is a stupid definition.
Stop nitting up Jaysick's log of superhuman athletic ability btw.

It was nice to be able to concentrate on form and not have to scream as loud as I possibly can after resetting my squat. The Bench Press was really hard. I also messed up on my first set by doing a rep with an extra 5 on one side after putting the ten on with out taking off the 5lb plate. I'm an idiot...
Foam rolling along with shoulder dislocates have really helped me get into a much better deadlift position and hopefully I'll start adding weight on soon.

Power Cleans 3x155, 2x165 1x176, 1x186, 1x196 I wanted to keep going but I need to get in the gym on campus with an O-lifting platform so that if I drop the weights I'm not going to break something.... Everything in the gym with the O-lifting platform sucks though so I don't like going there as much
Pull-Ups 1x5x15, 1x5x25
Also there was a GILF doing squats today... She had a nicer ass than every college girl working out at the time and was doing full depth squats of 95 lbs. She was probably age 60, 5'6, 115

I think you can do a lot more deadlift volume to work on technique. No way is 280 going to tax you that much.

Maybe something like 245x5 (currently doing 2 as WU), 265x5(currently doing 1 as WU), 285x5 for next time?

I subscribed to CFJ and watched some of the videos. It definitely helped my form a ton and made rowing a lot easier. That being said, I still tanked the last 125m and went from 1:33.1 to 137.
Thrusters 2x12x95 Just wanted to try them out as I had never done them before.
3 Rounds
5 Hang Cleans 95lbs
3 Hang Snatches 95lbs
Took 3:32 although I had to wait much longer than I wanted to between the second and third round as someone was changing the weights on the squat rack next to the platform I was on and was in the way. The 3rd round was the fastest.

There's nothing wrong with doing a few sets across with deadlifts imo.
Where are the deadlift videos? It's sad to see someone squat 310x5x3 then dl 285.
