I don't want to be sub 200 because I plan to start lifting and adding muscle as weight comes off.
In addition to my discussions here, I've also been leaning on a friend who is a strength coach, and have come up with some goals that I have yet to publish here. I've had challenges in the past with lifting and back issues, but I am starting by strengthening my core and will work with less weight than I have historically. As body fat % drops, I'll continue to push with weight training until I am successfully lifting to produce dense muscle mass. My goal is to be a fairly lean 220. I'm not silly enough to think that I'll catch up to where I was at 17 years old, nor do I desire to be cut like that, but I can get my BF% to a healthy 18% and bulk muscle to 220lbs, I'll be happy.
I am surprised by the amount of trolling in this forum though.
