Are you sure this is something you really want to do? There's a reason going to the Olympics is so special. If it was easy, everyone would do it.
If it's just a love of skiing and a general dissatisfaction with your job, I'm sure there are lots of other careers in skiing available. Even just teaching kids on the beginners slopes every morning.

Just stumbled across this, and am a bit confused. Without being a dick, if you haven't really raced before at your age it's going to make it supper hard to compete in Winter Olympics ever.
I've gone from racing to freeriding to freestyle since I started skiing, and even though racing has a kind of lame reputation it is incredibly difficult and really is something that you have to train on incredibly regularly to get good at. If I were you I would at least sign up to some dry slope races so you can practice in UK.
I might have just misinterpreted the thread a bit so sorry if that is the case, but just thouhgt I'd give my two cents.
