Started with some hps-ohs complexes to warm up.

Front squat
7x5: 240

I dont know how people do full smolov cycles. I cut out one day and still feel like I am getting overtrained.

Went to my GF's Crunch which surprisingly had some kettlebells.
Did a superset of bench and pull ups
Bench
4x5: 135 185 225 255
pull ups
4x10: bw

Kettlebell clean and press
3x5 each arm: 24KG (all they went up to)
KB snatch
2x5 each arm: 24KG

This was my first time using these and I can see how they can be kind of fun. I would need more weight for them to be useful though.

Decent leg workout
warm up
Hang power snatch-OHS complex
4x3-3: 45 95 115 135 (these were all very easy. I was tossing them up without any real 3rd pull or dip.)
Front squat
10x3: 260lbs
These were pretty easy until the last two sets which were a challenge.

Got < 5hr sleep and felt like ****. Workout was somewhere between OK to poor.
Push Press
8x3: 135 185 205 215 215 205 205 205
Wanted to do 5x3: 215, but wasn't feeling it. Will try again next week. Should have probably taken the day off.
Standing one arm cable rows
4x8: 90 100 120 120 (thought I would try something new)
One arm triceps extensions
2x8: 40 45

OK leg workout. Plan now is to finish my Smolov-light cycle this week, then do two weeks of only complexes and plyos for legs and test my max.

Struggled through a tough front squat complex. Think I have a bit of a cold. Slept like 10 hours and am still wiped out.

Was not feeling well, but got a decent upper body workout in nonetheless.
Superset of bench, pull ups, and one leg elevated dumbbell calf raise.
Bench
5x5: 135 185 225 255 255
Pull ups 5x5: bw+25
dumbbell calf raises on step up 5x5: bw+35

Then some plyo push ups
5x3: 22" 24" 26" 28" 28"
I was launching myself over the 28" so probably should have gone higher. I was being a bit of pussy a result of 1)being sick and 2)failing on a 32" attempt a few weeks ago and almost hurting myself.

Added some kettlebell clean and presses
3x5 each arm: 32KG (I could do quite a few more with my right, but 3x5 is close to a max with my left. I struggled on the last set)

How do people avoid scraping their forearm. I am able to clean it without banging it in to my arm and think I have decent form. The problem seems to just be that it is heavy enough that even moving around during the press it scrapes some skin off. Is this typical? Its not that bad, but definitely annoying. Does it sound like I am doing something wrong?

The bell should sit very deep on your wrist, with the handle going diagonally from your thumb to your wrist bone, so most of your hand is through it. It will kind of lock into place if you do it right. Some guys curl their knuckles on top of the handle and have their index finger and thumb in a trigger-like grip.

Dzh, Thanks that is helpful. I need to work on my KB form as my wrists are still sore from Sunday.

Decent full body workout today.
Warm up
HPS-OHS complex
3x3-3: 45 95 115

Superset of hang power snatch, bench, curls
Bench
4x5: 135 185 225 245 ( all very light and fast)
hang power snatch
3x5: 135
curls
4x10: 25lbs

I then added jumping Bulgarian split squats
2x3 (each leg): 2x15lb dumbbells

Tried to get a workout in after work, but was pretty wiped out. Got a short, mediocre workout in.
Power snatch

Front squat
2x2: 275
Dumbbell elevated single leg calf raises.
3x5: 35lbs
Jumping Bulgarian split squats
3x3: 15lb dumbbells
