hey guys,

I was just wondering as to any advice on mixing the two items above. Is it ok to swim everyday and say work oyur upper body out three times a week as well as your lower body three days a week with a break in between each time?

Sure. Just do starting strength as prescribed 3 days a week, on lifting days always do that first, swim after or not at all, and eat and sleep a lot.

I know a lot of people who do this. It will probably hurt your lifts a little bit, but swimming is very good for you! (and much better than walking on a treadmill for 60 mins)
