Cigarettes Kill? Cigarettes Kill?

So I'm smoking one now... and the thought came over me, I wonder if I can smoke one after another until this pack is doneso?

Quickly the idea, after a few more puffs, became dreadfully awful.

However, I would like to know if this is even possible w/o throwing up or becoming overwhelming ill afterwards?

Thanks for humoring me during my time of an awkward ponder.

Lol I have some friends that are like this when they drink. They'll open up a new pack of smokes and light the first one and never need a lighter again until they're done. They just keep using the previous cig to light the next one.

And your title sucks/ is misleading

It amazes me how me people can still ask ******ed questions like this with the availability of wikipedia. Nicotine poisoning is a real thing and can be fatal.

Edit:Smoking the whole pack is very unlikely to kill you and whether it makes you sick is defendant on your own tolerance.

Niacin belongs to the B-complex group of water-soluble vitamins. Scientists working with extracts of nicotine from tobacco first discovered nicotinic acid in the 1930s. Because nicotinic acid turned out to be a vitamin essential to health, scientists created the name niacin by using the first two letters of “nicotinic” and “acid” and the last two letters of “vitamin”. They did not want a health-promoting vitamin to be associated with nicotine and tobacco.

What % of gym members are smokers?

I vape weed frequently. I'll smoke a cigarette whenever I'm hanging out with smokers, and occasionally drink, sometimes to excess. I doubt any of these vices are particularly detrimental to my fitness goals or health, whilst all of them improve my happiness and general well-being.

I smoke on and off in random ammounts... sometimes it will be 3 or 4 packs/week, sometimes just a couple of smokes per month... I often randomly go for a week or two without a smoke.

The only thing that really sets me off is drinking. If I'm sitting around a party/BBQ or something and there are other smokers present, I can plow through a packet easy game. That said, if there are no other smokers around or I'm at someone's place who really doesn't like smoking, it's no biggie to not.

Last rugby season I smoke a handful of cigarettes the whole season.

In that regard I've never really felt "adicted" to cigarettes.

.
lol. I hate this. I can go from not smoking for months to an instant pack a day for three days straight when hanging around certain friends. I don't even drink much either which is the funny thing. I just love to smoke and its just so tempting hanging around those friends. I'm planning to get myself an e-cig by the next time I see them.

If anything, I'm psychologically addicted to cigarettes. I usually only smoke a couple cigs a day and no more than 1/3 a pack. I used to be a heavy marijuana user but I don't like the feeling and lack of cognitive thought anymore. Drinking has replaced this and is only a problem when I go to the gym after a night of having a few too many.

Amen Martymc1. I think this is my 6th attempt quitting and so far so good. My friends and I had a discussion once while smoking where we wondered if you could tell EXACTLY which cigarette you smoked gave you the irreversible lung cancer or prostate cancer etc etc. It feels pretty good to not ponder those kind of gloomy scenarios anymore. In fact it's been incredibly easy to quit so far *fingers crossed*.

I quit cigs in Dec. 2005 and it was the 3rd best decision I made this past decade. I quit mainly b/c I was so out of shape and knew what would happen if I continued. I still remember the day. I had smoked a pack by 5pm and I bummed 4 or 5 more off a buddy which were gone by 830pm. I put out the fifth one and said no more and haven't touched one since.
