Hi please help..thanks in advance! I left hardboiled eggs ina pot on my stove overnight w/ the water poured out. I placed them in the fridge immediately after I woke up. About 9 hrs in my condo w/ a temp of about 70 degrees. I searched online & got some mixed reviews. Please comment.

I would bin them, probably best case scenario is diarrhea. Totally sucks if you made like 10+ though...

This wouldn't happen and they will look and taste better if you immediately placed the eggs in an ice bath to stop the cooking. I would probably eat them, particularly if I was a young man and invincible. I'd be more reluctant if I were old, an infant, or infirm.

Are they still in the shell? If so, eat away. If not, eat away. Then again, I eat more or less raw hamburger from my butcher so take my advice with a grain of salt.

They're probably okay. But if they smell strange, toss them.

I've left eggs out and eaten them too, not to mention all the Easter eggs. They're pretty durable in their shells, raw or cooked.
