So I've spent the last few months studying in Europe traveling all around and stuff. I've drank more alcohol than I ever have in my entire life, I've also ate like absolute ****, sometimes eating 5 times a day, other times eating 0 times a day.

I went from working out 5 days a week to nothing. I will be returning home the day before Christmas, and I will be partying for new years and my 22nd birthday which is January 2nd.

I start university back up on January 7th, and I am definitely going to need to do a serious detox.

Does anyone have any opinions on the best way to go about this? I don't want to use to harsh of ways to detox, I was basically thinking of a solid 4-5 weeks of a gallon of water a day, lots of cardio, sauna, and eat really clean. Nothing but eggs, chicken, fruits, vegetables, nuts, etc.

I was thinking about supplementing it with some super dieter's tea.

Any opinions or things I can do to help would be awesome, or maybe a trip report of your own detox ways.

Detoxing and all that is overrated.
If your 21 and not getting drunk this would be a greater cause for concern imo.

I don't even know what detoxing means. It makes it sound like your tequila shots and big mac's are just lying around in your body until you get round to "detoxing" them. lol

Just get smashed and go to the gym when you can.
+1 for saunas though

Activated charcoal absorbs lots of crap and is used to help get rid of poisons and some heavy metals. Cilantro is used to get mercury out of one's system. Milk thistle helps liver cells regrow. Alpha lipoic acid is a powerful liver detoxifier.

But like the other fellow said, don't think that piece of gum from your childhood or bits of old Big Macs you ate years ago are still down there waiting for a pill to clean them out. All that stuff is long gone.

I just want my conditioning/strength back, and am not expecting a miracle. I also don't want to be taking a bunch of **** I've never taken before like "charcoal absorbs" and "alpha lipoic acid" because I would never do that in the first place

I'm more looking for like just ways to get back "into the swing of things" and help aid in getting my strength/stamina back.

Obviously time is the biggest factor, because I was running 5 miles around 5 times a week, and I doubt I could even run a mile right now, so I was just looking for simple tricks/techniques to aid in getting back my energy, sleeping habits, strength, etc.

alpha lipoic acid is commonly found in spinach, broccoli and potatoes as well as animal sources... yeah you would never do that wtf does that even mean. If you want to know how to get back in shape and eat healthy read the FAQ if you want some Hollywood bs was to detoxify yourself I think VH1 has a recurring special.

try going on an only carrot juice diet for a week it will help get all of the toxins out of your system. maybe get ur colon cleansed also

They have these little pads that you stick on the bottom of your feet that absorb teh toxins. Some people think it's just dirt from your foot, but I'm 99% sure it's negative chi in the form of foot dirt.
