It also tastes pretty good out of the bottle. A lot of IPAS like Sierra Nevada taste like crap out of a bottle but pretty good draft. APA is not as bitter so maybe that has something to do with it.
But I doubt it can be commercialized like that. Flying Floyds was saying something about super rare hops and a complicated brewing process.
Being in the Chicago area for me is love-hate. I end up going to Flying Floyds, buying a pretzel cheeseburger and trying a sampler of 4 beers. After that I finish up the meal with a 6 pack of Zombie Dust.

3 Floyds, not flying, but yeah. I no longer think you are 100% retarded/crap. Congratulations.

Oops, mixed it up with Flying Dog in Maryland. I have been to a whole bunch of these, use to be one of my pastimes.
But now that I am training probably going to have to give up the lesser ones (Cigar City, Dogfish, Victory, Boulevard, etc etc). I just can't help it and go on full blown monkey beer tilt.
Definitely not going to give up Russian River and Three Floyd's though. Going to have to get on the treadmill the next day.

Wtg Beata. Have you had to keep buying a ton of new clothes over the last few months?
I often wonder how much extra shopping women end up having to do when they are gaining or losing significant amounts of weight. Most guys I know (including myself) have more leeway in terms of the cut of the clothing item plus tend to be lazy/not care about it.
Oh, another thing I expertly noticed from your pics is that it seems like all the squatting and deadlifting improved your face too. I mean, back in January you've got some weird case of blackface going on all that has cleared up now. Nicely done!

I frequently have just one beer and never tilt. Now, when something is just available in large format and is also 10+% ABV... well, I mean, what can you do but wash it down with some good scotch?

Re: *** HAPPY BIRTHDAY USA #1 JULY LC THREAD***
Benched 100kg @ 78kg BW, feels pretty damn good. Went straight to my uncles house to celebrate his birthday and had several sandwiches with mayo, bench will probably be 90kg tomorrow.
On another note, my brother said he had heard of some new training form that sounded awesome that combined powerlifting, running and group training, obv its crossfit he is talking about. I told him that I'm not a big fan and that he should start with doing "normal" weightlifting to learn the movements and build up some strength before he starts crossfiting. The problem is that he thinks "normal" weightlifting is horrible and I'm having a hard time seeing that he will actually go to a gym 3 times a week for a longer period of time.
He is very thin, about 5-10 135 and don't know anything about lifting weights. What are the odds of him injuring himself if he starts crossfiting as a total beginner?

The absolute risk of injury when starting crossfit is probably pretty low. Depending on coach quality (largest variable), it's probably relatively low compared to starting by yourself with no coaching whatsoever and poor proprioception (this was me when I started barbell work). Lifting under a good coach and doing "normal" pl (what I'm guessing you're suggesting) is ok, but the best option is to move to Bulgaria, cycle all drugs possible, oly lift 3x/day, 7x/week and become a legend!

Why does your brother think this:

But then also think this:

No matter what he starts with he may injure himself without someone to guide him through proper form. So I mean in that sense crossfit may be better than someone screwing around with barbells with absolutely zero supervision or direction.
But I dno, why does he even want to do crossfit? It sounds way "harder" and more "unpleasant" than barbell lifting to me...
