Yeah. I found an awesome tai chi group in a park close to a vegan café, gonna apply for a job there.

jeff,

yeah. that works. Or maybe something as simple as drop to squatting 2x a week and deadlifting 1x a week and maybe using a greyskull type progression on the squat and DL. also that's super uncommon, fwiw. It's usually the other way around.
I'm dumb. I think the reason I have more to go on upper body is because I stalled a ton at first on bench/ohp and then sort of put that stuff on the back burner for squat/deads.

Yeah it's one of the big bottles. I thought all the stuff you brought was from mammoth lakes but there's a Lagunitas IPA and that lolz

KC, you make me lolz intentionally and unintentionally

Also- SM asked me to try and stump him on the pronunciation of a USA #1 word and I did get a bit tricky with:

Antidisestablishmentarianism

Though my USA#1 friends had a hard time as well

Ah right, re: big one. This super chill broham at a liquor store in Mammoth recommended that one, didn't try it myself.

Pretty sure Jay wanted to stump me. And I was pretty drunk by then :/

Re: *** HAPPY BIRTHDAY USA #1 JULY LC THREAD***

Anyony know of any gyms in SF with a squat rack that take walk-ins? Location not important (though near nob hill is preferable), though there needs to be parking if outside of my area.

Texas Method is closer to what you want. You can linear progress some exercises and not others. (Like just alternate linear progression with BP/OHP, and go Vol/Light/Intensity with sqat) Its pretty hard to **** up. Just try something.

The England/Belgium thing was the best part. The stout thing was solid as well.

Re: *** HAPPY BIRTHDAY USA #1 JULY LC THREAD***

Soulman, it may be too late but if you're looking for good beer places use beermenus.com.

Personally I've only tasted 3-4 of the great stouts, but it's impossible to say that USA#1 doesn't dominate this category. How you would get your hands on the best though is beyond me, they are in insanely high demand here... even I only find something great a few times a year (e.g. local places tapping Founder's KBS, waiting in line for a bottle of Three Floyds Dark Lord, bartender at a local bar that had just found a barrel of a few year old Goose Island Bourbon County Stout... <3 <3 <3 ). As a tourist you would NEVER have access to that stuff unless you knew a beer nerd or were some sort of twitter beer stalker. It's impossible that there's anything better in Norway.

Cha, I'd love to try Surly Darkness, but I've never seen it. I know of at least one bar here that had some at one point though, so I'm hoping to catch it next time around. (Fall, I think?)

Yeah, that video was pretty boring...I kept waiting for it to get good. They need JF to do the writing/directing for it imo.

Cobra - have you FS the blonde yet? It could be part of "**** guys at the gym say" or w/e.

Surly Darkness is v hard to come by. Even Cha with his magical talents only has like what, a handful a year?

Oh, I was just thinking, I bet Gizmo and Beata could do a good "**** women say when trying to lose weight" or something - they both seem to have a good sense of humor. Plus the 2p2 insider jokes should be spot-on.

If I hadn't seen that a local bar had a barrel, I would have thought that such a thing didn't exist because of my experience here in Chicago.

That local comparison (Three Floyds Dark Lord) is probably slightly more popular. It has online ticketing just to have the right to buy a bottle. The tickets sell out in 60 seconds... they have pages of rules just for buying the beer. It's kind of overboard if you ask me. The beer is awesome, but the hype is unreal.

Re: *** HAPPY BIRTHDAY USA #1 JULY LC THREAD***

Beer is serious business, lol.

Fwiw I barely drink beer. But when I do I tend to like Oatmeal stout type things or Guiness or darker ones I guess. I like Surly Furious quite a bit I think. I dno, I go so long between drinking beer it's kind of hard to compare.
