PSA about dieting: 265@25% -> 205@10% at 6'5". rough estimates but you really do get a lot smaller than you think. also explains how bulking is kind of dumb for a natural but then again I'm sort of glad I did it, if that makes sense. strength levels maintained which is nice.

The lengths crossfit will go to troll themselves is amazing, I've done a complete 180 on them. They're geniuses, not idiots.

I had some lifting #s I wanted to hit so I ate a lot and lifted until I hit them. I started around 215 high teens bf%. It took a few years and I got to 265 and 315x3 bench, 405x5 sq and 555 dl, 290x5 pullups, then was like ****, I feel sloppy, I can't stop sweating, and my blood pressure is too high.

for dieting I ate ~3000kcal and 200g protein usually IF style, which I recommend for ease of compliance low fuss, and I wasn't too strict. It took me about a year and a half with some months off here and there.

Re: *** HAPPY BIRTHDAY USA #1 JULY LC THREAD***

The Nero Wolfe books by Rex Stout are probably my favorite. They seem repetitive, but it doesn't matter. They're so awesome. I think I still have a couple to go before finishing them all. Order doesn't matter except for apparently the last one should be read last, which I haven't read yet.

All the Leaphorn and Chee books by Tony Hillerman. I haven't read all of these yet but I'm close. Dude is a fantastic writer. These are up there as well for me.

Just read Dashiell Hammett's 5 novels (red harvest, the dain curse, the maltese falcon, the glass key, and the thin man). I think dude is overrated. The Dain Curse and The Thin Man were my favorites out of this.

That's about it. I'll eventually read Sherlock Holmes, Agatha Christie, etc etc. My mom has most of the stuff.

I guess you could call the girl with the dragon tattoo books murder mysteries, and those are also incredible.
