Agree. First one was the worst. Should be easy enough to fix.

I think if you shoved your knees out more, depth would come easier.

I knew the looked borderline when I watched the vid while still in the gym. Was not about to go for round 2 however.

I don't know how much wider I can get (or want to get) my knees to go. Any downsides to making them wider? There has to be a point where its too wide.

I think other than that my form looks pretty solid.

Its a body proportion thing. If you have long femurs (like I do and it appears you do) then the only way to squat deep (and squat between your legs instead of on top of them) is to have your knees farther apart. The healthiest way to achieve this is most likely to push your knees out more, although you can experiment with a wider stance too.

Its a pretty small rock in the grand scheme of things, your form is definitely solid and it looks like you could handle at least another 10 lbs.

Re: HalfSlant's novice -> intermediate SS log

your knees aren't very far apart halfer. don't be scared. the upside is that when you do shove them out a bit more, pretty much the deepest you'll be able to go is a little below parallel and you'll get the best bounce possible.

Last volume day. Thank God.

Squat
1x10x45
1x5x135
1x3x225
5x5x305

Had my toes pointed out a bit more. First set I had them too far apart I think because I tipped onto my toes on one or two reps. Felt pretty good for the last 4 sets. Developed a pounding headache during the 3rd set, still hurts now.

No need for humility. This is a ****ing model for what can be accomplished in a year if one is dedicated. Even someone like me who has no ****ing clue what he's talking about can see it. <over the top goodbye>
