Are you talking about Dr. Tobias Funke the Analrapist? That guy is a damned never-nude!

EDIT: Was at the gym today and there were plenty of new faces for the new year. Let the poor form and weird exercises begin.

- My new gym appears to have close to a 1:1 trainer:athlete(?) ratio, but the trainers all appear to be more out of shape than the athletes. I guess that's somewhat standard?

- Some guy asked me to unload the weights after he finished with the leg press machine. Fine with me, considering that he's in his late 70's and walked away from the machine using a cane! Anything that gets me into the gym at that age will be great, and apparently he'd dropped a plate on his toe and broken it before.

- MY MOM, WHO IS CLOSING IN ON 70, HAS BEEN TO THE GYM TWICE IN THE LAST WEEK, DOING POWER CLEANS, SQUATS, RDLs, BENCH AND OVERHEAD PRESS EACH TIME!!!!! AND SHE SAYS IT'S MAKING HER FEEL STRONGER AND BETTER! Huge win considering that she hasn't been to a gym in literally 40+ years!

you'd probably be better off doing slow negatives until you can do 1 pullup.

Do you guys find yourselves looking at the nutrition information of some food and the first thing you always look at first is the protein grams without giving a **** about anything else that's in it?

it just pisses me off when KBs and TRX are lumped into the same category as bosu ball and other silly things.

Not at all. You realize you need something like that to get to your goals and do not care what others around you think of your training. Rather, you care that you're training optimally. That's the opposite of a bro.

A bro would just do a set or two of light pulldowns, never increasing in weight, after benching and curling.
