He obliged easily and I even cleaned and carried his row weight over to another area... Pissed off some bros because not 5 min later thy were all "how many sets left?" .. I was in my work sets do they stood around and watched me creepily for 15minutes before they did shrugs... 1 guy is super flexer after any rep of anything also do I took a couple extra minutes between sets
Correct play here is to say "about 15 mins", not the # of sets since bros never take long breaks between sets.

Today was interesting. When I walk over to the power rack I see 225 on the bar and a guy quickly runs over saying he's using it. He ran over from another barbell doing deadlifts (supersetting squats and deadlifts? lolwtf?). I ask him why he's taking up two barbells. "The gym's kinda empty, you know." I just give him this "umm wtf u talkin' bout broseph" look as I slowly turn around and see about 50 people in the gym. Whatever, I tell him I'll wait until he's done squatting. Of course, he does half-squats... >.<

About 15 minutes later a regular bro walks in. He's an acquaintance and does the big three, but he bros them up (doesn't rest between sets, progressively loads by at least the 25 lbs plates, does barbell curls in the power rack, that sort of thing). He asks to work in squats with my pressing. Does the standard one plate, then two plates, then adds a 25 for 275. This was the first time I spotted someone squatting.

Later he loads up God knows how many plates on the leg press machine. It must have been at least eight. He asks me for a spot, so I position myself beside him to apply maximum force in case he fails. He succeeds the rep, but feels disappointed, because he thinks I might have helped him. I had my hands hovering slightly away from the platform, so I didn't assist anything. I reassured him that it was all him.

Meanwhile, over at the seated calf press machine, some skinny bro was "working out." He was just casually sitting there gently tapping the machine with minimal ROM looking around. He might as well have been reading a magazine at that point.

Serially, even though I'm a polite bro and not particularly confrontational....I don't think I'd spot a leg press ever.

I admit, it did feel super weird when he asked for a leg press spot. I was thinking to myself, "what is this, how do I, I don't even...."

I should really post a movie of a usual day at a gym in China. I'm pretty sure they're the worst ever.

Yesterday I saw a guy on a treadmill "running" at about 20kmh, totally inclined, with his arms hugging the machine so he wouldn't fall off because he obviously couldn't keep up with the thing, for about 30 minutes....... in jeans.

Not to talk about the amount of dumbells that are randomly being waved around at a ridiculous speed.

Saw a personal trainer making his client work out for at least 30 minutes in and immediately in front of one of the two power racks at our gym. He didn't even use the rack once. And the gym was packed. Like WTF? Pretty sure the dude can lift dumbbells without a rack.

At my gym in thailand it is actually necessary for them to put up a sign in the locker room that basically says gay sex acts will revoke your membership.

What about heterosexual intercourse? That's cool then right? What about trannys? I know Thailand has a lot of weird crossdressing and tranny **** going on.

Being asked to spot on legpress has happened to me twice. First time I told the guy spotting on the leg press was pointless and he was like "well.. uhh... can you like come over and see if I'm going deep enough?" I obliged for some reason. 2nd time was recently bber bro needed 2 spotters for his partial rom hack squat machine sets. He of course had to add in some patronizing "I'M GOING TO FAILURE.. YOU KNOW WHAT THAT MEANS RIGHT?!!". There weren't many people in the gym, he's a regular, and I see the regulars all the time so I didn't tell him to go blow himself like I prob would have at a globo/college gym.

I've actually never seen him do any legit lifts except fagging around with ~275 decline bench for a few difficult looking reps, yet he's 6'4 240ish with gigantic arms and veins popping and stuff. Super obvious roids. W/e he can prob flat bench 300 for 10 reps or something and I've only seen him tarding it up. (Yes I'm ****ing jealous and mad before you spam me with bb.com memes).

Which, actually, is a great idea for an actual troll. Go into your gym in a tux, use bowties instead of collars, and do heavy weights correctly. Perhaps loosening your tie when "it gets real hard."
I've actually thought about trolling this forum by posting form check videos while wearing strange clothing such as a suit and tie and then insisting that it was my normal workout attire...never bothered following through with it though.

Saw behind-the-back deadlifts (don't know how else to describe it) for the first time today. Watching him set up had a strange 'whats wrong with this picture' feeling to it.
