I saw this guy and I marked him for a douche from appearance alone, as he was working out in a button-down shirt, cargo shorts, sandals, and sunglasses indoors. Then throughout my squat warm-up I felt kind of bad about it. Maybe he's just oblivious. Maybe it's his first time working out? Then, of course, my bias gets confirmed.
Lol, I was watching the entire video thinking "that guy seems like he knows what he's doing and isn't wearing any of that stuff." Then villain comes into the frame and I realize I need more sleep. :/
saw 2 bros filming eachother on sets of lat pulldowns shirtless, then had 2 other bros spotting eachother on side laterals, not by actually helping with the weight(10lbs) but by gently holding eachothers hips during the set.

Guy loads up flat bench with four plates. Dark skin, minimum 6', appropriate weight class even if he doesn't look like HEL.
I stand to the side ready to be impressed. He gets no spotter. I figure he's either mega strong and capable or he's about to die.
He grips the bar, grunts a bunch, takes a deep breath, and then can't even get the bar out of the rack. Um ...lol?
Then there's this guy on incline who looks jacked af. Puts on three plates. I watch just to be a bro for a fellow IEL if he needs it. He reps it out with what looks like zero effort and perfect form. Then he moves up to 365 and finally 405. All reps perfect. Incredible.
I complimented him and asked if he does flat bench as well. He said nah, not anymore, prefers incline because it's less stress on his shoulders.
We have two squat racks and a power rack. They are all empty at the moment and I am setting up to to push presses. I can use any of them okay, but the adjustable hooks area just a little bit easier for me to rack in when I am going heavy (jt heavy not bdiddy heavy).
Just as I enter the rack one of my least favorite gym girls walks up behind me. She wears all Nike gear and a hat with the ponytail out the back. Everything color co-ordinated in bright pink or orange and short shorts. Nice body, works out a lot. Beats headphones. Big gym bag carried all over the floor. Always gathers all of the most popular **** in a corner to do her entire circuit at peak time including a bench, popular dumbells in several weights, a fixed bar or two, and sets up shop in the rack.
I, being a ****ing beta gentleman, ask her if she was using it when she clearly came in right behind me. She says "well I was going to..." and looks over at the other rack two feet away.
I said "I can use either one of you prefer this one." She responds "yeah I do"
No thank you. No gratitude. No feign of refusal. There are probably more than a dozen chicks in this gym who are hot enough to get away with that **** and she is not one of them.
Last time I ever give something up for that one and next time she is hoarding something I need to use I'm working in without asking.

ya man dont give it up so easy then complain you should have made her beg for it
I'm not a huge gym goer but i saw these yesterday and I thought they were weird, maybe it's just me being a noob idk.
Saw a couple of girls doing a bizarre exercise on the treadmill where they were facing each other on two treadmills that were parallel, had the treadmill going about walking pace, and they would do like 1/4 squats and then jump across to keep on the treadmill then do it again. They were synchronized as well. No idea what they were trying to achieve with that one.
Also saw a girl doing bench with a PT who had her legs straight up in the air. Again, no idea why she was doing that or why the PT was allowing/suggesting that.
