I have a rack at the house now, and loaded up 225 to see if I could squat it. Put the weight on the bar got under the weight and lifted it off the J hooks... Said **** that and put it back down. God 225 feels so heavy. No idea how you can do 275, really jelly.

Lol. Did you warm up with something lower or just try 225 cold? Definitely need to warm up, especially for someone who doesn't squat often (i assume?)

Once a week for like the last 6 weeks. It just felt like way heavier than I was expecting it to feel. Got 205 once tho.

Felt good for all the heavy deads and squats, then as I'm sitting down to change out of my squat shoes I twist my knee a little bit. Decided not to risk it and just did abs to finish off.

Been busy with friends in town the last few days so no lifting. I went hiking on mt charleston yesterday, I twisted my ankle multiple times and legs were a little sore today so I'm just skipping Sunday's leg day. I actually got a pretty decent workout from the hike since my dog got exhausted on the way down and refused to walk so I had to carry him about 2/3rds of the way down.

Made it to the very end of day 4 of the main event finishing in 269th for 36k. I was super short basically all of day 4, in fact a few hands before my bustout (JJ<AKo with 23bb), I was at my high point for the day in terms of BBs.

After grinding 10+ hours of the main 4/5 days in a row, I was pretty beat today, definitely the reason for weakness/exhaustion.

My forearms get really tight sometimes, but never any pain the I can recall.

I wish I still had all my action. I learned the hard way that keeping all my action in medium-big buy in events for years can very easily (lol big field tournament variance) force me into the market for selling action.

Schedule is still crazy even though wsop is over. The gf and I both have lots of friends in town still so we end up scheduling most of our regular stuff around them.

I saw a video somewhere in the forum yesterday with Rip talking about grip and I realized that the massive calluses on my hands were probably due to improper placement. I tried fixing it today on squats and rdls, it felt a little strange for squats but was fine. However for rdls it put a ton of weight on my fingers that I wasn't used to and I had to cut some sets short.

Weak.

It's been humid out here the last week or so which is absolutely miserable when it's like 110 degrees to top it off. So of course we decided to play golf yesterday at 1pm... I think I lost about 10lbs just from sweating. I shot 85 which I'm pretty ok with after over 2 months off.
