my L5-S1 joint popped on the last rep. felt like the same thing as when you crack your knuckles. However, this caused me to lose stability in my low back and I dropped the weight rapidly. Spinal erectors at the SI joint a pretty sore now.
**** man, that sucks. Hopefully you just tweaked it and didn't strain it as badly as I did -- you'll know it if raising yourself up out of bed/tying your shoes becomes problematic because of pain/tightness.
I'd advise taking things slowly if you're at all unsure; each time I hurt mine (once on each side) took 6+ months to fully heal. Both times I tried to lift through it and aggravated it further. #Olds though, so hopefully yours is both less severe and faster healing.
Yeah, it hurt to get out of bed this morning. But like I went and played frisbee golf yesterday afternoon after deadlifting in the morning. I don't think it is too bad, just tweaked it.
Didn't video the set, but there is a good chance my back was just rounded over before I even started pulling. Its been a longstanding problem with my conventional deadlift form.
Damn man, that sucks about your back. You will know how bad it is when you bench next. When your lower back is messed up, it is tough to arch. I hope it is just a minor strain. Any reason you are pulling conventional? I thought you pulled sumo.
That's not what I'm advocating. If you read exactly what I said, I think it advocated that there's no shame in him moving up a weight class. HS lifted at 165, right? Moving up a weight class would mean he'd be between 166-181. Over time, maybe he could weigh 200 and be lean. That was not what I said though. I dont advocate him using PEDs either. Neither does my coach. You dont need to use PEDs to gain muscle. Gaining muscle takes time and hard work and eating right. Anyone can do it, but its hard to do. Of course he should not try to look like the fatty in you picture. Dont twist my words.

Now before anybody brings up Maurice jones drew, do know he is an outlier genetic freak. It's like Herschel walker, born a freak always a freak. Eat salad and bread, get jacked doing sit-ups and push-ups.
Wanted to call out Cha delusion here from months ago, but I see my work has already been done.
