Didn't run through my drills properly, missing lifts everywhere. 62.5 attempts weren't even close. Finished up with some godawful power snatches.

Shame I didn't charge my camera. Would have loved to see wtf was going on with some of these attempts. Clarked 70 and decided to call it a day. Tiredness from earlier in the week noticeable.

Used a slightly narrower stance so I can start with my arms straight. Jerk footwork still patchy.
Snatch Balance: 45x3; 47.5x1,3; 50xF,3; 52.5x3; 55xF
Badly out of practice and it shows. Not quick or precise enough. I'll try 50 for sets across next time. After the first two sets I decided to just use the widest grip I can unrack with, rather than sliding out to my snatch grip after I unrack. The difference is quite small anyway.
Back Squat: 102.5x3,3,3,3,3
Heavy but good. Felt like I made some nice bounces.
Snatch Pull: 60x3,3,3,3,3
The long summer is over and winter is coming. Or at least my new course is. Will have to train in the evening from now on.
Clean and power jerk: 55x2; 60x2; 65x2; 70x1; 75xR
The sole of one of my shoes has come loose. Split jerk was a non-starter. I wasn't feeling great to begin with and suck at power jerks into the bargain. Pitiful.

Will see if the shoes can be repaired tomorrow. No idea how long it would take if they can. Looks like its back to the Converse in the meantime.
Gym is so crowded in the evening, but then it is national bench press day so maybe its not always like that. Will try to stick to the morning as much as my timetable will allow. Jeremies slightly jostled by the day's events.
Halting Snatch Deadlift: 82.5x2,2,2,2,2
Fine. Not having the usual shoes to use as a visual reference point when setting up is a bit odd.
Back Squat: 105x3,3,3,2,3 PR 3
No raised heel is a very strange feeling. Did some extra warmups to try to get used to it. Will put the one miss down to the shoes. Adding weight next time.
Push Press: 65x5,5,5,5,5
Tough. Very long rest before last set.
Managed to get to the gym a bit earlier so I was safely in my cage by the time the place was packed. Also heard the best two-song sequence in gym playlist history: Game of Thrones opening theme followed by Gangnam Style.
