The one guy I lift with who has improved his total ~25kg while I have improved mine like 3-4kg over the same period doesn't drink and just does drugs on occasion. Maybe that is the real secret?

I totaled 89/104 @ 75 and don't really need to read a bunch of very ****ty advice by posting here. I mean look at some of the stuff people advise in the beginner thread/abra thread/etc.

Snatches are obv with straps since no one is interested in competing. So we count small pressouts and all manner of jackassery I guess.

That program is basically what I did for years. We can neckbeard if an additional backoff set of squats or a few sets of press/bench a weak (noting freudian typo) for shoulder health made it not work. But I don't think my body likes doing that many ME snatch attempts per week.

I do enjoy the "weak af". My sinclair is almost 250!!!!

Ya, that is pretty much what I'm afraid of. Trying to address comments as overtly idiotic as what you posted, coupled with the dumb appeals to authority and then silly rebuttals would be tiresome.

Or I could ask people who aren't dumb to begin with and get quality advice from significantly more technically accomplished lifters who can watch me rep to rep. But ya.... At some point we're all just kinda near our technical limits. Like bros who have SN/SQ ratio of like < 50%

Carnival update:

Tuesday is Mardi Gras which means this is the big Carnival weekend which really starts tonight and makes tomorrow the big hooky day (Monday doesn't even count). In my town, today is the last chance to take care of any business until Wednesday. So the Coriolis effect proves the flat earth theory.

I just went down a crazy rabbit hole that is so intriguing how they come up with explanations for things.

Gravity? Oh, the flat earth is just accelerating straight up (?) at all times.

Seasons? The sun changes its orbit around the north pole at the center of the flat earth. How does it do this? I didn't dig in, just looked at the silly picture of 3 different sun orbits with no explanation how it changes. It just does apparently.
