Replace the back squats with a Power Clean + Front Squat (5x3).

Re: Fear's SS + Aesthetics Log

stop bending at the knees first to put the bar down.

bar path on press is curved to avoid your face. the correction is a little nuanced. you need to have your hips more forward (but keep abs and glutes tight) so that your upper body is a bit leaned back, so that a slight head tilt is all you need to get out of the bar's way.

Also looks like you cut the ROM a bit short at the bottom of the press.

Re: Fear's SS + Aesthetics Log

Kyleb was recommending that you replace the smith squatz w/ front squats, not just add front squats to your routine (excellent recommendation btw). This way you won't have to bother with the gheyness that is the smith machine squat. Don't worry if they feel weird, I'm sure you will get used to them; they do require a little more flexibility than LBBS because proper front squat form is ATG. Your pc will eventually limit how much weight you will be able to use but front squats are like a zillion times better than smith machine back squats...

hmmm time to bench, better get a spotter, who's in the gym, only 2 people...ok we got a 50 year old lady with braces doing 2 lb curls for a billion reps, and i got an old dude wearing a sweater vest doing something resembling tricep pushdowns. guess i'll go with the old guy. "don't touch the bar unless its on my chest", "okay sure" he says. what does he do after my first rep? he grabs the ****ing bar for no reason. "you can let go of the bar dere cheif", "okay". he proceeds to do this after every rep. oh sheesh yall.

1x3x110
1x3x110

Front Squat

5x3x85

DL

If the gym is empty just bench with no collars and dump the weight if you can't get it up.

Re: Fear's SS + Aesthetics Log

the floor isnt made of rubber though, its jusy like a wooden floor with some carpet, dumping might cause some damage.

Re: Fear's SS + Aesthetics Log

Your DL form is pretty solid only thing I would reccomend is try dragging the bar right up your shins it looks a little too far in front put baby powder on your shins if you have to.

Re: Fear's SS + Aesthetics Log

If that's 110 lbs you're benching collar away and slide it down your torso if you fail. And that's a lot of failed reps at that weight.
