Did not get good night sleep and did not want to push it on a day I was thinking about taking off. Will be trying to accomplish 5x5 225 squat by end of month.

Weight loss is still making progress. I need to not bomb over the weekend w drinking and or eating out foolishly. As Malucci would say, it will be a battle versus the fat dragons.

My brain and my friends try to keep me away from you. At the same time I feel like the universe is pulling me toward you. It makes me think about the long conversations on the longer dirt roads. The metronomic like beats of the hospital machines when all I could do was hold your hand and pray. The month like lifetime in the ICU with your dad. The warm sand, your long legs, and the crashing of the waves on the beach. Amber was right, you are like heroin to me. I already ruined my life once for you, why would I stop chasing the dragon now ?

2/18 - rest day / bball

It was in the 60s in Michigan and I unexpectedly played some basketball. Game was great, minus wearing my squat shoes and sliding 2+ feet in the mud ( without falling somehow ). Felt great after playing, and added fuel to the motivation fire.

Ended up grilling and drinking on Saturday. I am proud of myself for limiting and alcohol consumption and what I ate after drinking and dabbing.

Couldn't sleep so I was up at 4'doing laundry, food shopping, and got a work out in.

Played basketball for a second day in a row. 2 hours of majority full court 5 on 5. Felt super crushed afterwards, especially since I couldn't sleep last night and lifted early this am. Think I am getting strep throat or something similar. If I feel worse than I do now, I will take a rest day tomorrow.

I wake up pretty early most days and am in eastern time zone. I asked you multiple times yesterday, and this is first I heard back from you.
