2/10-11 - drinking and dabbing affected my calls. No blowout days, just smh because of alcohol and late night eating.

On the bright side, it was not the old average 20 beer +idgaf what I eat after ordeal.

Bench - 1x10 45/135 1x5 155 5x5 167.7 1x10 135

Tri press - fast rep tempo short rest - 3x12 97.5

OHP - 1x10 45 6x8 77.5

Tri rope - 1x12 60 2x12 80

End of session used fatty pull up 1x5 50 was easy, went to try a normal pull up for first time, and I got one! Well maybe got one? Failed second rep obv, and tried another one after a minute and came close to being OTB.

Even though I'm not going to consider this me being able to do a pull up, it is very big step for me.

Would love to hear thoughts about the following proposition.

I was asked to be on a flag football team that starts in a few months. Team got runner up in last years league, with roster consisting of several former Canadian semi pros?

I was told I would be playing o/d line. Am a big football fan, and like sports but I didn't play any football in high school outside of little pickup games.

If I choose to do this, I would want to do some training to get myself sitting better prior to the start of practice.

Any advice / experience is appreciated.

How old are you? How much time can you give to that? Are you in a job?
I mean it seems to be bigger than just a small hobby on the side and require more time and effort than just to work out, whenever you like it.

Any other person ITT asks me, and the answer would be "old enough". But since my valentine from another continent asked me, I will grace her with the truth. I am 29.

The amount of time required is unknown at the moment, waiting to learn more upon further discussion.

In terms of time and effort, I know there will be practice and games. Everyone on team had full time jobs / lifes. The skill level is high, but it is a more "street" league.

Of course I have a job, jobs to be honest. If you don't work, you don't eat. Hence me cutting weight �� god bless the motor city.

I don't weigh myself often, I'll do it in the morning and post here.

My weight problem came from excessive amounts of alcohol and eating whatever tf I wanted. I don't really have knack for alcohol anymore and am controlling excessive eating. I have been making sure to get a lot of protein

I have no clue with football. But I don't see any good argument against that.
You are old enough, but also young enough . I mean if you would be 45 yo, I would have suggested to check the average age in the team, but so....

And what is most important is, that it is apparent, that it is challenging and at the same time exciting for you. That it would be a kind of things where you can prove yourself, that you can do it and be good at it.

I would so do it.

And it would be definitely good for physical form. I mean you can loose weight by eating less and doing nothing. But at least my body always maximized it's fat content to the max possible for the given physical activity level. I could never stop working out and remain slim. It is different if you know that you have to run/do yoga/fooball training with this McDo meal/chocolate bar/pasta and wine dinner or you can just get rooted to your couch.

I weighed the exact same this morning as weigh in day. Fwiw I still have a craft beer and beef baby growing inside of me. I weighed myself on Friday and it was 258 something. Weekends have been downfalls, but I seem to crush the m-Fri.

I made up in my mind I am going to do this as long as it fits with my work schedule. If I had to guess, as of this moment I am going to be one of the most inexperienced in the league. Thus does not intimidate me, it just pushes me to work harder, in order to succeed.

My legs are probably much stronger than chest back, or arms. I could probably squat much more weight than I do now but am working on form. I use to skate/long distance longboard and have been told I have tree trunks? After speaking w someone that knows the game in and out, he said first three steps off the long are most important, using driving force with pushoff off of the snap.

You should do it, a buddy of mine was in the same situation, didn't play football in high school(because our high school was stupid and didn't have it,) but loved football and sports and general and he plays o/d line on our flag team in the same type of league as this. Just ask one of the other guys who are playing line to give you some tips on blocking/rushing and you should be fine. It will also be a lot of fun/great exercise.

When I asked you out the first time, I wish you would of stood me up. I could of stood for feeling inadequate to a stranger. You could of just wasted my time, blew me off, and made me wonder whatever happen to that beautiful soul. However you opted to show up and still managed to do all of that.

Contemplating blowing off coffee w girl I met online, thinking I'm about to get cat fished. Going to a coffee shop, if I go I'm getting there early, ordering a to go cup, and departing upon arrival of catfish.

Also have some young dumb hot in the pants girl at work that is offering it up after work, but she lives like a hour away so mehhh. Not even feeling very depressed, but something about it being v day and not being that interested in either is just making things so bland.

Im sorry for your loss buddy. I want to say something encouraging to you, but I just can't find the words. I don't know the pain of losing a child that you love, but I can imagine, and I wouldn't want anyone to feel that pain.

Life is a funny thing. I last minute decided to get a rose for the possible cat fisher. Stop in flower shop next to coffee house we are meeting at. Humorous world threw me an irony bone. My ex finances mom was working st the flower shop. I hadn't seen her for about two years. She didn't even recognize me at first, until I called her by name and asked how her husband was doing. She wasn't super warm to me when I was w her daughter but still liked me. She gave me a huge unexpected strong long soulful hug. I told her to send be the family my love, and that I had to go. I could of stayed and spoke to her longer but it would just open more wounds.

Catfish is currently on her way but late.
