Have continued to not do rehab ... not sure how bad this is. The ITB doesn't hurt but it feels funny and I expect that if I tried to squat with any weight it would hurt.

Rehab. Not sure this is helping at all. No pain most of the time but every so often I'll try an air squat and I can feel a twinge in the ITB. It is time for me to see a trainer? How do I ensure I don't get a quack?

Wanted to do 5x5 press this morning
3x5 105, pulled something in my shoulder / back / neck area and called it a day. Will probably start doing rehab / rolling every day now and see if it helps my ITB.

I've had that happen to me a lot. Its annoying as hell and makes things like driving hard.
Most recently, it was a capsule joint or something like that. Something like the spot in my back where one of the ribs connects got out of whack, and it pinched a nerve. My chiro fixed it with a combo of spinal adjustments, ART and acupuncture. He allowed me to DL later the same day after he treated it and I pulled a PR x 2. DLing actually made it feel good.
If you do have the same thing I had, keep your shoulders down when you pull stuff. Dont shrug your shoulders while pulling. If you did what I did, this is probably what caused it to happen. Think about the stuff you did that could have caused it & see if that makes sense.
