Bench: 2x1x215, 3x215, 3x2x190 (2 second pause on last rep)

Quick in and out session, had to run an errand real quick so cut it short. Felt decent though.

Monday:

Press: 2x4x150, 3x150 (with push presses to make 5 each time)

Today:

Deadlift: 4x440
Squat: 3x5x255
Dips: 3x10

Kept the press weight the same, still only hit four just like last cycle. Deadlift felt excellent today. I did 3x435 last cycle on my 5 day, so 4x440 is plus five pounds and plus a rep. I may have even had five in me had I let my form degrade, but not worth it. I actually had a guy tell me unsolicited tell me my form looked good today. I haven't taken video in a while, but maybe it's coming along. My back feels great despite pulling progressively heavier and heavier.

I think my plan for the moment is to do this cycle and then two more, followed by a cut down to somewhere between 180-190, we'll see if I actually have any muscle under here. If I hit my deadlift single each cycle, that will put me at 500. Fingers crossed.

Been bad on updates.

Bench: up to 3x5x195
Squat: 3x5x280
Press: 3x160, 2x160, 3x160
Deadlift: 3x460

Happy with the press and the deadlift, not happy with the squat and the bench over the past week. Third deadlift rep today definitely came to a pause a few inches from the top, but it eventually made it to the top, so I'm counting it. Turns out I was actually supposed to 465, but I forgot my phone and had to do it from memory. Either way, I did 2x460 last cycle on my 3 day, so progress.

As if Christmas and Christmas Eve wasn't enough, was fueled by a visit to a local wing joint for today's workout. Benches felt better

Bench: 3x5x185

Not even close on any of my press attempts. Had to clean it to get it started since the racks were in use and I often think that I don't get into as solid a starting position from a clean as opposed to unracking it, but I still doubt I would have got it even if everything felt perfect. Did some squatting today which felt OK and then some light benching since I didn't get to that Monday. Might go in tomorrow and see if I can pull 500 for Aidan, we'll see.

So I haven't updated this in a while, probably because I was depressed at trying and failing a 500 pound deadlift on NYE, got it a little bit past my knees but no further. I let Aidan down. So I'm just going to skip over the past few weeks and start up with this week.

Monday:

Press: 2x3x135, 8x135, 3x5x125
Bench: 3x5x185

Today:

Deadlift: up to 3x440
Dips: 3x10

Reset the press since I went two cycles without hitting my top single. Deadlift was blah today, focused a little bit more on trying to get my shoulders a little bit tighter, a little bit more directly over the bar. Got a fourth rep up to my knees but couldn't lock it out.

Yesterday:

Deadlift: 5x385, 3x435, fx490
Dips: 3x10

Had some real bad cracking and bruising on my left heel, took almost a full week off to get a point where I was no longer limping around. So finally got back in there, didn't go well. Could barely budge the 490, the 500 I attempted on NYE got way higher, this got about two inches.

Anyways, it's cutting time. Been back on ephedrine and caffeine since Monday. It really is incredible how satiated you feel after first getting back on it, even without having eaten anything. I'll use today as my starting weight, 211.8. Goal is to get back down to 180 or so, hopefully I've added some muscle during this bulking period of the last year or two. Not sure what I'll do for maintenance, probably just some sort of 3x5 type stuff with no progression. Want to take off 5 pounds a month, give or take, so targeting the end of July I guess, will reevaluate then.
