Sometimes it's just perspective on everything. Weekends are tougher for me anyway (just more stuff around), so as long as I can track this weekend I should be k. Also, having an off day/week doesn't matter. Hope baby is K. K.

I have a lot going on. Counterpoint: I have nothing going on.

McGill stuff feeling good lately. Back feeling a little tight, but it can really loosen up. I'm trying to stretch more, but stretch my back less. It's hard bc stretching the back provides some immediate relief, but long term all that's really helped me is increased strength and stability. E.g. McGill stuff, planks, structural boring but necessary stuff like face pulls, opening my chest, checking shoulder mobility, etc.

loco you know I'm not ever meeting you at some ayce restaurant. Come on bro. Sm, I believe ayce sushi is some sort of rice eating contest. I am not unlikely to check it out.

Anyway, thanks loco for the bbq recs, I visited 2 and rec pecan lodge over lockharts by a small margin. Lockhart's brisket equalled pecan lodge, but I got a beef rib at PL, which is my fav smoked meat. Yum. Sides were just to sample, no room to eat them. There's also a good pie shop next door to PL, very good in-season cherry and homemade ice cream. I made room. Overall, tasty and a fun time in Dallas, but the bbq not quite up to the Austin level in my experience (nit tho, A- vs. A+).

Freud made me write this. I guess I like rice more than I thought. I really meant to write that I do not want to go, but now I guess I have to. The last sushi place I went was Nakazawa. The next prob something like... ACYE SUSHI AND THAI AND CHINESE AND TACO BELL. Sounds great. Really looking forward to it.

You never done AYCE in Vegas? There is probably over 50 places that do it, some are solid. All have sashimi options bit with restrictions. But there is a unicorn out there or two with ayce sashimi.

Feeling beat up. Combo of losing weight, not enough kcals for the amount of walking or just moving around that I've been doing, and also therefore not enough protein the past couple of days.

Nothing too exciting - I stopped tracking kcals last week, which led to eating too little (and way too little protein) during the week and too much (though probably k on protein) over the weekend. This week I'll resume tracking, and it should be k. k.

My most dad-like moment of the weekend was simultaneously pressing my two larger (they are still small) kids overhead - they love this. Or maybe when my 4 year old asked me if sprite is beer for kids. So proud.
