weight: high 25xs somewhere, pretty fat, not really any fatter than any recent history. Not really any skinnier. Maybe I try to cut, but beer. There's some local decent sour release tomorrow I may hit, zwanze day coming up, then another sour fest, a GOAT BA fest in Chicago, constant pastry stouts everywhere, solid NEIPAs etc. so we got some serious drinking to do bros be safe. k.

I am actually looking at buying a home sauna (well, and a home), but this was a gym sauna. Co-ed so no noods bc puritans settled this fine land. There's a steam room inside the locker room area, but I am kinda afraid of that and also I prefer a dry sauna anyway, luckily.

There's a subset of GGO gym bros that are sauna bros. One sauna bro is always flexing. One is always doing pushups. It's weird.

I saw one hot chick in there once ever (icwydt, dt), so that was also cool.

Do you know why Oly lifting masters is only age 35?

The OLY injury rate goes something like this

Oly >> powerlifting >>>>>>>> bodybuilding

Power clean is probably okay but I would think any lift where your hips are going below parallel would be causing loaded flexión. My man Andrew lock says all disk herniations occur in flexión. And my boy cándito says he has never seen a below parallel squat without some type of flexión.

1+1 equals 34 year old man with back issues to pump up the bodybuilding volume and core exercises and kill the Oly dream.

Look it up. There are some mixed studies but almost all agree. Good luck, that's why I brought up the age 35 masters fact.

Yet something like the tactical strength challenge keeps being won by OLDS.

Oh wait, I am a little cardio pussy so i will keep doing low volume. I hope you don't ban me like thremp, I do enjoy your life and actually would like more personal stuff posted (the hottie wife videos mainly). And also what the ex did. Thx. I won't use it against you, it's more about learning experience and going through the same thing. And you are team thremp so you don't have to worry about that side.

counterpoint: I like it and I feel k and it's fun and will always be fun for me.

My back kinda hurts all the time no matter what I do, but not too bad. It hurts less when I do wl more, I think because of the inherent mobility benefits of the sport, but idk. Squatting is always how I aggravated my back. I do lunges (WU mostly), step ups and FS. I do that lock kb thing, I did a bunch of that wall squat stuff. Seems fine. My main issue is sitting/standing at a damn desk to make moneys. What can you do. You personally have to sit or have had to in the past, around a table or in a car for years. Not great. We do what we need to. We live at a weird time, where people sit so much.

wl is, anecdotally and on the level of amateurs I know, mostly injurious to wrists, elbows, shoulders... but I don't have a major issue that I know of with any of those, so I carry on. I'm not gonna back squat, I'm just gonna FS light like today, and I pay more attention to form now than ever... see also my long and dumb warmup that is the same volume as many people here's workout. 195 snatch wasn't near a max, but maybe a technical max and 1-2x/week isn't gonna cut it for joint prep, so no way I push it this week.

life is going good, thanks for asking. Buying a new house tomorrow, plan to knock it down and build a new one I guess. Gotta go wire a bunch of cash right now, I hate that. Banks. Bleh. Gonna see if I can use part of the old house, but I doubt it. Idk. Anyone want to come GC this for me? I'm getting really into green building (for making a comfortable house, not for eco whatever)... sounds dumb, but current tech is pretty impressive. Gotta be cozy! Lot is amazing. Big in-ground pool, creek with bridge, fire pit, gazebo, a few koi ponds with waterfall. I'm not gonna change much of the landscaping. Trying to spend less than a miami condo on it, but it's hard.

Hard life. Sometimes life goes good, sometimes life goes bad... mostly the same either way though. Stop by and have a beer when I'm done with the house. Wife is preg and due in Jan. Preg ~1 week after our wedding for you math wizards. I don't think I said she was preg on here, I may have. Everything is going well. I like kids, family, house stuff, kids stuff. It's my thing. I want all my family and friends to live on the same block, we have a party and all hang out. Would be k+ imo.

I get along great w/ ex, kinda hard at the time but no worries now. I can tell you about it over a beer, it's not a secret but I'm not gonna post what happened online.

Beer update: I'll be in St. Louis this weekend for Zwanze Day. Trying to tick all the ticks. Can't wait!

Otherwise Just trying not to die. Trying not to buy a stupid Tesla. Trying to keep up my ~6-month streak of daily meditation. It's k in the end. Death soon!
