Treadmill run:
3 intervals of 60 secs at 12 mph, 120 secs at 3.5 mph. I wanted to do a lot more but my left hip started acting up. Seeing as I report to BOLC in 10 days I'm not really trying to get hurt. Total including the warm-up was like 1.5 miles in 12 minutes.

I reported to my next duty station this morning (Augusta, GA). Getting settled in and organized today and tomorrow. Have yet another APFT on Thursday morning. Weather is going to be like 35 degrees around 5 a.m. so this should be a fun one.

Smoked that ****. 76 PU, 80 SU, 13:52 good for a 290/300. This was the third highest score in the class (my good friend and fellow lieutenant from my unit got the highest with 77 PU, 84 SU, 12:14) and I got appointed the PT Officer for my half of the class. My buddy was appointed PT officer for his half of the class so we are going to be competing over the next 5 months. Guess whose half of the company is going on Starting Strength ASAP?

Ft. Gordon gym is by far the single worst gym I have ever been to on a military installation. Hexagonal plates are sweet for slamming the bar into your shin.

So tired.

Saturday:
Ran 3.5 miles at about at 7:45 pace

Monday:
Formation run about 5.5 miles in 57 minutes. Slow as ****.

Tuesday:
3 Hill repeats. Long ass hill that was really hard to do. 20 push-ups and 30 sit-ups between each repeat.

Oh and drank like 8 beers on Saturday night.

Went to a country concert! I don't even like country music. Well now I do. Especially the girls in boots and short jean shorts. Holy crap. And they're so friendly!

Drank a ton. Discovered a new pregame drink:

1 part Electric Blue Gatorade

Yesterday was land navigation so I walked about 14 km in the woods.
