Had a 3 day business trip that cut into my workouts. Also been fighting some nagging soreness in my right foot and back.

Today morning:

Squats were pretty brutal. Hips felt really tight and left quad felt weird.

The first two are local Ohio micros that were both pretty good. The Musk in particular is a very refreshing IPA. I've never had the Tucher Hefe but it was outstanding. The difference between it and the Paulaner was pretty obvious when I drank them back to back. The Paulaner in itself is a very good beer, but the Tucher is on a different level, close to Weihenstephaner.

Got a new 3 inch belt that really helped with deadlifts and doesn't cut into my pelvis when I get into the starting position.

Best wasn't taking orders for the longest time so I got this General Leathercraft:

I'm satisfied with it.

I also got my girlfriend a suede covered 2.5 inch belt from there but compared to my Best 4" the quality is not as good. However, it is cheaper and it was delivered within 10 days while my Best took like 45 when I ordered it.

Overall, I expect the belts from both manufacturers to last a lifetime, but the Best is clearly the better belt.

Cut most carbs on Sunday; would like to get to 200ish within a month. I woke up at 210.0 today and the cut will continue, so I'm dropping volume in favor of intensity. Deadlift was the main lift that I really struggled with yesterday, but that's to not unexpected. I also had a bad night's sleep which didn't help.

My lower back has been really sore. I have a recurring problem in my left SI joint, that seems to pop up every time I approach sets of 350 and 430 on squat and deadlift. I thought about taking the rest of the week off but I ate some carbs last night (breaded chicken!) and didn't really want to waste the energy.

Nah, I scored 294/300. You can google the Army Physical Fitness Test standards. They differ by age for men and women. I think I got the second highest score in the company.
