DB shrugs are a lot better in terms of ROM and free movement.

My traps were the most developed when I was doing cleans regularly though.

9 holes of golf today. 14 points (stableford). Then the rain came

Drived pretty well, was very bad with the irons, and hybrid wasnt to good either, putting meh'ish. So room for quite some improvement.

After me and my brother went to a golf shop, just to look.

My brother dropped 2K there, I only spent 350ish. So new hybrid so I can hit my fairway shots a bit longer, wheee...

And a new putter, hope it helps.

My HCP is 35.5, my brother is 40, if he gets below me Im obviously going on a shopping spree!

Got a shipment of golf balls, since my lenght on the drive is ok, but accuracy isnt too good I need them, I cant really play before after saturday because I have bench meet saturday.

My shape could be way better, even though it isnt a pure shape issue, its more like shoulder pain, going in the very tight shirt pressing 190 kgs a couple of weeks ago was borderline stupid I guess.

Balls

I don't think a ball is going to fix your weaknesses. If you have trouble on your short game, get those books by Dave Pelz (short game bible and I think there is a putting bible). A lot of things will be fixed simply by setting up correctly.

The point is that the balls are cheap, seeing as I will hit 1 out of 3 into the forest or other crap where Ill never see it again...

But I really need to work on short game, I cant hit any of my crappy irons atm.

Oh, thought they were some expensive-ish ball. Lots of people think equipment is going to fix their problems, which is why I brought it up.

The Short Game Bible, read some of it. It helped me.

The balls are like $0.5 a ball...

I tried to order the 2 books, but the site I ordered from took a crap, will try again later.

Regionals bench (JM).

Weigh in weight: 95.8 (211.2)

Some shoulder pain in warm up where I did a negative on 150 kg, finished warm up like 20-25 minutes before first lift.

Started in my 42 F6.

First attempt:
150 - Good 2 - 1

Second attempt:
162.5 (358.25) - Good 2 -1

Changed to the 44 Inzer Xrage, pulled it down a lot.

Third attempt:
177.5 - no lift - Could not touch.

The 100 kg class was won at 220 kg (358.25), I finished 4. or 5....

a bench shirt. It stores elastic energy from the eccentric portion of the lift, which helps you rebound out of the bottom.

Todays 9 holes of golf
hole 1: Par 4.

Sliced 3 balls out of bounds on my drive, scratch

hole 2: Par 4.
Messed up drive, second stroke too.... scratch

hole 3 par 3
on the border of the green in 1, somehow used 5 strokes for 2 points

hole 4: Par 4, hardest hole on the course.
Good drive, kind of missed second stroke, decent third stroke with new hybrid, 20 meters out, flag close, but a bunker in the way, got the ball in the back of the green, holed a 15 meter or something put downhill for 5 strokes and 4 points

hole 5 par 3.
on border of green in one, made par for 4 points.

hole 6 par 5
ok drive, good second stroke, 140ish meters out, sliced 2 balls for a scratch.

hole 7 par 5
good drive, sliced second a bit and had to shoot another was good, playin mehish, 8 - 1.

hole 8 short par 4 297 a little downhill.
Good drive, like 20-30 meters out, mehish play in, 2 puts for par and 4 points.

hole 9 par 4.
good drive, second stroke reached green but a bit left so missed and took a har bunker, came out but far from flag, some crappy putting later I was in in 7 for 1 point.

so 16 points on first 9.

It has to. The picture is from my setup, before I get the bar out, when the start signal my butt will be in the bench.

I lift in IPF, and I believe they have the strictest technical rules, too strict imo, of any federation...
