Just warmups. And I think that is about to come to an end. My knee feels a lot better when I wear briefs, even when the weight is significantly more.

I probably should get an MRI on this knee one of these days.

A few of my teammates have them and are starting to get them broken in. I've been breaking in one for a 330 lb guy and despite the arms being way too big for me, and it is so long it almost feels like wearing a dress, its pretty easy for me to move 450-500 off 3-4 boards in it. These shirts have a bigger sweet spot and are pretty springy. I want one.
The 52 will probably still be a good shirt to open in for a while.

"Super Duper Phenom" pretty imba name imo. I guess these are in the $300 range?

I still have never touched my chest and pressed anything in the 52.

yeah, the standard SDP (2 ply, no grid stitch) is $300. You can get additional plies and grid stitch for more. I dont think anyone who presses under ~900 lbs would be able to use 3 ply. I am pretty sure I dont want grid stitching either.

Seems like the next step, as opposed to just continuing to throw a band-aid on it. Hopefully it's nothing serious and an easy fix.

You'll get there, especially if you keep eating like a bird

yeah. ART makes it feel better for a while, as does compression bands and stretching and IASTM, but it keeps coming back, so I think there's something other than soft tissue issues going on in there.

lol. If I ever got to 220, I'm sure this would make a great shirt to open in. I was 237 this morning. I'll try to stay around there for the next couple of weeks.

Solid bench, no video though?

Coverage seems to have been ruined by TV rights, should be on youtube later though.

Fedosienko did about 670 points, Blaine seems to be the only one able to challenge that.

ND State APF Championship

squat
600 good
656 missed at bottom, got light headed, did not take enough air in
656 good
I probably had little or no shot at 705 because I havent been able to train squats to depth much at all recently and they were calling depth very strict. Considering the condition of my knee, I'm happy with this.

bench
463 good and fast. The head judge said it looked like a warmup rep.

I decided to put on my tight size 52 rage X that I have never touched and pressed anything in before.

545 missed. Terrible. I was loose all over. It touched, but it barely came up.

545 missed. I kept tight and form was good, but I just didnt have enough strength to lock it out. It was about 4 - 6" from getting there. bah.

DL
584 smoked it

628 no problem, but not easy

650 good lift. Pretty solid form. I might have had 2.5 - 5 more KGs in me, but probably no more than that. Considering how my training has gone the past several months, this was good. I'm happy with how my form was.

total 1769.

That's either the lowest or second lowest total I have put up in a geared meet, but considering my injury situation, I am happy with it. The only significant thing I could have done differently to help would have been to take about 496 for my 2nd bench to get me over 1800. 1900 was not going to happen this day.

Sounds pretty great considering you really haven't had much time to shake off the injuries and get back to it. Wasn't the original plan (weeks ago) to just push/pull? Fact that you had a successful 3 lifts seems great!
