I'll try to get more pup pics up in here busto! She's the best. Do you train yours well? I have a few commands I use with her regularly and would like to expand.

Here's what she knows right now:
come
sit
stay
down
paw
off (the couch when I ask. otherwise she's allowed on)
rug (tell her to go to a certain spot on my rug. normally used to get out of the way if cooking, hands full etc)
bang bang (falls and plays dead)

trying to teach her 'spin' right now. any other ideas?

I love the montehate on hiking shirtless. Maybe you have never been in the sun for hours on end while sweating. If so I'll let it pass. But yes, still forever gross lovehandles/backfat

Sydney knows:

Sit
Lay
Roll over (partial and full roll)
Shake
Hallelujah! (she raises her hands and leaps like she's praisin' tha lawd)
Stay (fave is to tell her stay, walk away, make her wait, then tell her come and see her run as fast as she can toward me)
Come
Belly
Leave it/Off
Outside
Walk/Leash
Greenie/Treat

As for other commands, depends on what you're looking for. Some commands need to be taught because the dog misbehaves. Others because the dog needs stimulation. Others to impress girls.

I would like a vid here or on IG of your beloved pup performing those tricks please

That's pretty cool. What about the dog? Does she also know any tricks?

That's a great list! What does Sydney do for Outside and Walk/Leash?

Hallelujah is a good one that I could probably work in since Bailey goes up on her hind legs often, but I doubt she's that stable without balancing against something, so maybe not.

Same thing for outside/walk/leash. She just knows all of those words. If I say any of the three, she rushes to the front door. I have to be careful. I can say the words in normal conversation and her ears perk up.

Haha, that's cute. Is it just your voice?

I'll try and get a bang bang video sometime, but not the kind Monte wants to see

No, it's anyone. If anyone says those words around her, she knows them. Just like her poppa, she gets excited regardless of the context.

Looking forward to the Bang Bang video.

BtM,

I thought some more about what you could teach Bailey.

Instead of new tricks, I suggest you teach him how to perform the current tricks but by using hand signals, no vocalization. I think you will be pleased to discover how attuned your pup is to your body language already.

I actually do this with a few commands but should always incorporate them into tricks.
