It was just a random thought that crossed my mind and there is probably no way to know for sure. And I would think the answer is probably "no".
So who, or what type, of person has come closest? Say you add a subtract a "point" for every lb above or below 500 as well as every second above or below five minutes. Probably no one has a positive score (eg 470 bench and 4:29 mile or 520 bench and 5:19 mile) but I may be wrong.
I'm thinking the best in the world would be a linebacker, a middleweight Olympic lifter, a Mr. Olympia contender or a decathlete. I also think it would be cool to have this combined event be something with an official world record. Especially if specifically 500-5:00 is a bit above what has ever been done and was therefore something to shoot at.
Do you people even consider this **** before typing?
Why not? I think they would have a lot of potential for this. I'm definitely not saying that an OLY lifter could just do this without training specifically for it.

A PLer would be far better suited just from a training perspective.

Oly lifters do very little horizontal pushing. And no endurance training.
Yeah, though a higher degree of training specificity would be nice so that when he wastes away hunting the 5m mile he has more "headroom". Regardless, there is a much larger pool of PLers than Oly lifters who devote time and energy to benching and are significantly better at it.
Both lol at working for more than 30s though. lolololz
