Re: $25/50 NL, flopped nuts, ~400BB effective stacks, not sure about optimal line
Off the top of my head the only vaccination recommended for young adults to take every few years is tetanus. I am not sure if there is actual science showing protection wears off this fast, or if it is just a matter of risk/reward where getting the shot has very little risk (other than the pain because it is IM) but high reward (avoiding tetanus which has pretty gnarly effects).
Also, if you have had any type of open surgery you were given tetanus vaccine without even knowing.

Re: $25/50 NL, flopped nuts, ~400BB effective stacks, not sure about optimal line
My friend Emil(Whitelime) wanted to play tennis, so I ended up just going to the gym real quick and then playing 3 sets. Hes better than me, so it made for a good workout. My hamstrings were still dead tired from yesterday too. At the gym I just weighed myself and did some random pullups and seated rows.
Bodyweight(wearing shorts/shirt/socks)
| date | weight | | July 30, 2012 | 205 lbs | | August 5, 2012 | 197 lbs | | August 10, 2012 | 193.5 lbs | | August 12, 2012 | 189.5 lbs | | August 13, 2012 | 189 lbs | | August 18, 2012 | 189 lbs | | August 22, 2012 | 186 lbs | | August 25, 2012 | 187.5 lbs | | August 28, 2012 | 187.5 lbs | | September 1, 2012 | 189 lbs | | September 3, 2012 | 185.5 lbs | | September 4, 2012 | 184 lbs | | September 7, 2012 | 182 lbs | | September 10, 2012 | 181.5 lbs | | September 13, 2012 | 179.5 lbs |
This is a bit disingenuous though because I haven't eaten all day, as I plan to crush some all you can eat sushi in about 45 minutes.

I definitely like to keep my tetanus topped up. A booster every ten years seems to be the current thing:

For travelling in South America I had to get Yellow Fever done. Medical people need to get Hepatitis B vaccine.

i know this is LOL to this forum, but I seriously do like how muscular my arms feel after having curled for a few times in the past week. I think I'm gonna keep it up.

I will make it to the gym, but I'm not sure I'm recovered enough from football/tennis the past 2 days to be trying 1RMs. I would put it off til tomorrow, but tonight is Timex's birthday so decent chance I'm hungover tomorrow. And then Sunday is online tournament day.
Kinda annoying, but whatever...I'll go to gym today and try to do some type of squat/deadlift workout at least. Then I'll do a heavy lift on Monday.

LOL, I made the above post while still laying in bed. Now that I got up and walked around....not making it to gym today, still sore/fatigued. Meh, I'll try to not drink TOO much tonight and then do some 1RMs tomorrow.

ugh, didn't drink too much last night but didn't get a lot of protein yesterday and got up early to play WCOOP NLHE HU today...not gonna make it to gym(for second day in a row!). Gonna try to get up before Sunday MTTs and squat tomorrow. Monday will be an easier cardio/curl type day, and then I think we're planning on playing touch football again on Tuesday.

Man, my hamstrings/lower back are still incredibly sore from the back to back football/tennis days. Not sure if its an injury or not(doesn't feel "injured", but no matter how much I stretch/foam roll I just can't feel comfortable. Today's workout
Squats: 2x4x225 pause reps....super light, just trying to help recovery in my lower back/hamstrings
Bench: 2x5x225, 1x6x225...wow, very pleasantly surprised with this after only doing 205 last time. Maybe not squatting heavily beforehand helped? I threw in some dips, tricep extensions, and pushups afterwards
Deadlift: 1x5x135....just did not feel comfortable at all. My left hamstring was not responding well, so I just did the one set and quit.

Re: $25/50 NL, flopped nuts, ~400BB effective stacks, not sure about optimal line
Found a cool vegetarian place here in Toronto called Fresh. They have 3 different locations around town. Awesome kale/spinach/apple/parsley/celery juice. They also have some great salads, but I hate that you have to go to a vegetarian place to get them.....these salads are way better than I can get at normal places, but lack of meat is LOL, so I end up just adding my own chicken breast to it when I get home(and tell them to leave the tofu off and instead give me extra sweet potatoes)....why can't a place have salads as good as the vegetarians places but give you the option of putting meat on it?

just google it
Like the organic debate, theres a lot of conflicting "evidence" on both sides. Basically it can f*ck with your hormones/estrogen levels. Just like the organic debate, I see no reason to risk it when animal protein is 10x more delicious anyway.

i have googled it. its up for debate amongst bro scientists, not real ones. it also doesn't kill you like animal protein does, a fact that scientists, outside of those hired by the meat industry, do not debate.
